Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We enjoyed a walk along this beach and back, it was calm and relaxing. We saw a couple of dog walkers and one family during our time there.
The beach is Sandy so would be nice in warmer weather for kids to play.

Great visitor centre, very informative and good for the kids - some fun things to do. If you go to New Quay pop in and take a look around - well worth 20-30mins of your day.

We took a lovely stroll on here via the Coast Path route from the Haven site we were staying on. Starting on the road, we following the route down to the bridge, then through the wooded area, alongside the stream down to the beach and from there, onto the beach. Again a wet and wild day! But more from the sea spray and wind than rain!. Lovely walk, although we were unable to get to New Quay on the beach and headed back up the steps to the site again. Lots of people enjoying the bracing sea air with us, including dog walkers and ramblers of all ages!

We went to New Quay to see the sea front and, after reading about it on Trip Advisor, to seek out The Shell Shop. We were not disappointed. I loved it. Fabulous shells, souvenirs and assorted nicknacks to buy. Very reasonable prices and friendly staff. I had a lovely time browsing and buying. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

We stayed for a week in New Quay and came here every day for a drink. It was our favourite pub in New Quay. From the first night we were made to feel very welcome by the regulars & staff, the night we arrived was Sunday & it was karaoke the place was very busy & even though we had our two Labradors with us it was no problem & we were invited in I even sung a song myself.
It’s a proper local pub friendly, welcoming & we enjoyed talking to the regulars every time we visited. They do a good selection of drinks & are well priced they even have their own ale which I can confirm is a very good pint.
If you are visiting New Quay then call into the Seahorse.
