Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited here for the first time on Easter Saturday. Wow. For a smell farm so much for kids to do. See the animals. And plenty to do for to play with go karts etc. got to feed the lambs which was a good experience and also very hands on experience for small animals. Like Guinea pigs etc. even got to brush the horse. And have to say how friendly and helpful the staff are too. Well worth the visit at a good price

Made a day visit here as a family of four, two adults and two young children.

The grounds are immaculate with incredible views of the house and streams that run across the estate.

The cafe was ok, nothing special but basic food items on offer. We paid £28 for two jacket potatoes with cheese and beans and two children's versions, a can of Sprite and a a packet of crisps! Daylight robbery. Jackets were also reheated!

We really enjoyed the birds of prey area and watched two shows. Lee was an outstanding falconer who was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and great with the kids. A credit to the conservation centre!

We were disappointed with the mammal area, not much to see and most of the animals looked fed up and cold. Wouldn’t go back to this particular area.

All in all a good day out.

A beautiful church with interesting history. The wall paintings are of note. We visited with our 5 year old grandson. He loved it, especially the teddy bears which are around the church and represent roles in the church ( a note is by each explaining their jobs!)

What a lovely place you get the wow factor as soon as you walk in the door. We visited the Gallery and tea room with friends and sampled the lovely food and drink. As soon as you walk in you are welcomed with a warm smile and hello. the tea room is beautifully decorated and the seating is very comfortable. the whole place has a very relaxed feeling. We ordered latte's and tuna paninis everything is beautifully presented the paninis had lots of filling a lovely fresh side salad and tortilla chips. The added advantage you have is that you can browse the lovely paintings, glass wear and handmade jewellery.
This place offers value for money lovely homemade food and very friendly, helpful staff. i could have sat all day so relaxing. A hidden treasure. well worth a visit.

Worth the climb upstairs to see this castle chapel, which serves as the Anglican place of worship in Snape. Astonishing woodcarvings and beautifully maintained

Just off the main high street in Bedale you will find this leech house. can peek in the windows, but there’s nothing inside these days. It is a Georgian structure and is the last standing leech house in the UK. The leeches were used medicinally for bloodletting. The building, just over 10-feet by 10-feet, has a door and three windows which overlooks the peaceful Bedale Renaissance Park.

What a fab few hours spent with Rebekah Findlay doing Neurograph art. The studio is small but perfectly formed with everything an artist needs - including cuppa and biscuits! The supplies offered were top notch and varied. So many options when it came to colouring and adding stencil detail. Great creative fun in Bedale. I just wish I lived closer so I could come every week and work in this lovely space. Thank you for your warm welcome Rebekah
