Beautiful design, a wonderful shaded walk through the central pond, and easy access to Maizuru park and its rolling lawns, where people exercise, play ball, and have picnics.
You can either encircle the pond while walking or jogging, since the park also contains a jogging circuit or cross the pond via a string of bridges and small and narrow islands.

We stayed in Fukuoka for a few days and had a unique chance to visit this beautiful park to see the cherry trees.
Read about this park via the internet, visited a park on a weekday and was lucky enough to see the many cherry blossom trees that line the park in full bloom.
