What travellers are saying
- felineluckypunkLinton, UK884 contributionsReally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Our 3 y/o/ old loved it especially with foam sword in hand. Great walk around the battlements and great views beyond the impressive moatWritten 15 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- LaViaBelleNorfolk, UK64 contributionsA lovely little vineyard and well worth a visit. We dropped in on the off chance and we’re so pleased we did. We received a warm welcome, were offered the chance to take a relaxed walk around the vineyard before undertaking a tasting which was really nice. Prior to taking the walk we were given a short briefing and history, which was interesting but not overwhelming and upon returning for our tasting we were impressed with the quality of the wines offered and there was no pressure to buy anything (although we did purchase a couple to take home as they were so nice).Written 23 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Bill WBrighton and Hove, UK7 contributionsA lovely building, spacious, uncluttered. But how did they get away with the appalling new sanctuary furniture? it resembles bundles of firewood and is totally out or sympathy with the character of the building. it is easy to imagine a better setting for the Christian liturgy.Written 24 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Paul RFramlingham, UK227 contributionsDue to a safety precaution the mill was closed at point of visit with no sails but as disappointing as this might be the reason for closing is to allow for refurbishment ready for 2019 season and lucky visitors visiting from the spring. Having been before I recommend the ice cream van which parks alongside on sunny days and especially on Sunday when the mill pub is open all day a drink in their gardens adds to the enjoyment of visiting the mill. The mill is free to English Heritage members and there’s roadside parking for free plus a chance to enjoy local countryside walks in stunning SuffolkWritten 2 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- E8887TZmartinpBrighton908 contributionsNice collection f local artefacts covering trades and the wars collected by Mr Lanman. Worth a look while you pass through the castle but would probably be by donation elsewhereWritten 1 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Philip RHuby, UK907 contributionsWe happened on this seemingly small antique shop just off the main square in Framlingham and were pleasantly surprised at the varied selection of antiques on show. The majority were of the smaller kind and jewellery and items from the far east were not the only ones in abundance.
The owner Jeremy was a fount of information and did his best to get us what we wanted at a price conducive to both of us. It was by far the most interesting antique shop around. I would just like to say that you should check his opening times - we went after midweek and I think he is open at the usual hours till at least Saturday. Very enjoyable experience!Written 21 November 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Rusty8 contributionsWe hired the Triumph Stag and it didn’t disappoint. Beautiful car, great service from Chris laid everything out in a really easy to understand way. We took the car up the coast to Southwold then back to Aldeburgh and across to Snape before heading back. Car is a real head turner and it was definitely a trip down memory lane for mum as her 70th birthday treat. Definitely recommend.Written 19 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
