The station building at Kawaguchiko has many restaurants, shops, souvenir shops and the best part is the observation deck on the roof offering one of the best possible views of Mount Fuji.

The bridge was a relatively easy walk from the Kawaguchiko train station, and has good view over the lake on both sides, including the shrine on the lake, as well as views to Fuji-san and the surrounding mountains.
