Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The show was fantastic. The buffet meal prior to the show was very average. My advice would be eat prior and arrive later to watch the show. The park is full of arcade games, souvenir shops, photo opportunities….everything that you need to pay extra for. We were annoyed with the fact that you had to wait around in the heat or spend money prior to the show starting after already spending a large amount on the actual entrance tickets.

The Wat is located at the northern end of Kamala Beach. It is a very scenic looking Wat and you can enter provided you dress respectfully and cover legs, shoulders etc. well worth a visit.

The spa offer you an unique experience. Our therapists were fantastic: Bee and Milky. I strong recommend you stay in Intercontinental Phuket and try at least one session in Sati Spa.

The 20th anniversary of the Tsunami is approaching and sadly the Tsunami memorial at Kamala Beach is looking very neglected and run down. There are in fact two pieces to the memorial both need a lot of work to restore them.
The memorial is basically just off Kamala Beach in the street running by the beach, it is next to the green bridge in the middle of the beach.
It is worth a visit just to honour those who perished in the tragedy, but really it needs to be restored soon.

Very unique experience. Buffet dinner was good, lots of choice, suitable for all cuisines and veggie options. Also a kids stand alone buffet which is good. Coffee, tea, water and soft drinks also included, alcohol is extra.

We went in not knowing what to expect and at points we felt we were in a mix between Alice in wonderland and Willy Wonka as you feel like at times you are in a dream but it’s good fun.

The parade was good and there is enough to keep young children entertained. You do have to pay extra for the rides and games (I think it was 600 baht) for an all inclusive pass on the rides or you can for a couple of ride coupons. There are shops galore too so beware if you have children who want lots of stuff.

The show itself is absolutely spectacular. Nothing we’ve ever seen and the costumes are just incredible. Amazing! You can’t take any cameras or your phones in there and they provide lockers for you to do that. (Free)

The toy-let’s are an experience in themselves!

The kingdom of lights is magical and very unique to look at. We also got some amazing ice creams in different shapes which again were unique.

We didn’t use the transfer service but there are plenty of taxis around to use if you need it.

Overall it was a good evening out, very unique and nothing like we’ve seen before so we are really glad we did it. The reason it hasn’t got the full 5 is for 2 reasons. You already pay a lot of money to go and then have to pay for rides and games on top of it. Secondly, unless you pay for the rides and games, you will be pretty bored until 8:30 for the show. Overall we really enjoyed it and found it very unique which in itself is worth it.

We didn't go to ride or see the elephants. We have done an ATV ride the last 3 times visiting Phuket, each time we use a different track so we get to see something different each time. This track by far was the most challenging and fun. Not for a beginner as some of the track is quite difficult but the guide will help you on your ATV if needed. The cliff view was spectacular and guides were very friendly taking pics for us along the way. I would definitely do this track again.

I am in the Thavorn Beach Village resort and spa for 5 days. I had a Chann spa package 2 days ago. It was wonderful, the therapist was very skillful and courteous.
Today I just had a back and shoulder massage. It was very good and relaxing. The therapist applied very good pressure technique.
    Thank you Chann Spa.
