Taking advantage of the good weather I took our daughter and grandchildren - aged 2 and 9 ,to Rosepark for the day, we had a fantastic time.
We knew it was picnic friendly so made up a pack lunch, took the towels as we knew about the lagoon and off we went
The 2 year old loved every second of the day. He walked the whole of the park without a whimper because every corner had something new for him to see, be it a big tractor slide, the Fairy trail or the goats running free, he was so excited at finding something new he was happy walking. The 9 year old also had great fun on the zip wires and just loves the animals in the petting hut and the exotic house, and they both had great fun on the bouncy castles and paddling in the lagoon
We used the picnic tables at the lagoon. Very very impressed with how clean everywhere was. With the amount of families there and children running around, litter free and whilst there was sand, the lawns were spotlessly tidy
We bought slushies and ice creams and paid for the quad ride, all very good prices and the only extra costs after the very very reasonable entrance fee. As my daughter said, it cost £5 just to park the car up at their park and theres nothing other than a park to walk around. She said it was the best day out she has ever taken the kids too. What she particularly liked was the playground equipment was designed for toddlers, they could use it safely, none of these rope net things they had to use to climb up and narrow beams to navigate , there was proper ladders and the walkways were broad
We spent 4 hours there and only left because the 2 year old was worn out
A brilliant day out and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to a family
