Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

lovely beach , my guests really enjoyed this place and this is such a clean beach! Kalpitiya is ideal for honeymooners as this is quiet location and not too over crowded

This old church is worth a visit to relive the life of the Dutch Settlers. Interesting burial tablets inside the church tells a story of the Dutch pioneers. Urgently needs preserving for the future generations

Beautiful, quaint little church. Well looked after and worth a visit if you are in Kalpitiya.
The wooden structure still is in good condition even though the adjacent grounds could be better maintained.

This Hindu kovil is close to the Kalpitiya beach. This is a village kovil. The Friday poosai is popular.

Beautiful place. Les crowded compared to other beaches in Sri Lanka. A great place for kite surfing, diving and dolphin watching tours.

Biking within coconut and vegetable gardens was very relaxing. It is better to avoid hottest days, great in the morning or before sunset. Local farmers were friendly and they shared some fruits and coconuts with us. You can from Alankuda Lakes to St. Anne church in Tallawila or even to other locations within whole Kalpitiya peninsula.

Sam and his team are fantastic! Great knowledge of the local reefs as they have developed all the dive sites themselves! My partner and I enjoyed 6 great dives and Sam took brilliantly photos which he happily shared with us! I cannot recommend this dive school highly enough - 5*!

Two amazing weeks in Sri Lanka with our chauffeur Shanaka. Professional, courteous, and always on time. We would highly recommend Shanaka and this company. He always provided suggestions, and made us feel super welcomed to the country and to each location we visited. Looking forward to returning soon. Thank you for the hospitality.

We met Chamara on an initial transfer within the Kalpitiya peninsula. Then we added our transfer to Wilpatu. We were so happy we agreed to a 7 day tour with him covering the Cultural Triangle and transferring to Hikkaduwa via Colombo. We managed to see so many wonderful places we would not have seen without him or appreciated these places without his knowledgeable and charming guidance. We were so fortunate to have meet Chamara and have fallen in love with Sri Lanka through his unique perspective and have found a friend in him who we look forward to seeing again on our next visit.

I paid a deposit for Hotel to Travelicious. They didn’t book any of the hotel that I had requested for in Delhi, Agha, Banaras and Jaipur. When I called Mr. Gupta the manager of the company, he said to pay in Banaras and everything will be paid from now. Even though he said that everything will be paid for I still had to pay for the hotels and his driver took us to the middle of nowhere on the highway on a very hot day and started to demand money. He said it was an order from Mr. Guptha to pay more money or get out! So, we had no choice but to payt., I report to police , I am very upset and angry as to how this company treats their customers. I would not recommend this company to ANYONE! , please dont use this company ,email me for more starviewhomes@hotmail.com
