It think that workshops on basket weaving and other skills that were part of Native American culture would be most informative and educational for young visitors to the museum.

I learned so much, I definitely recommend the Bernhard Museum and Tessa was fantastic.
A small and well-kept museum, Berhard Museum Complex is great for families...it's like visiting an older great-great grandparent's home.

The museum itself, does a very good job of explaining both the gold mining process and the history of the Empire Mine - More interesting for adults that want to take the time to read and appreciate the history.
The mining museum and exhibits are interesting, the grounds are quite nice, and the trails are good for walking and mountain bike riding.
