Grand View Point Overlook
#1 of 10 Sights & Landmarks in Canyonlands National Park
Grand view is much too modest a description of the stunning and awesome panorama that awaits your gaze at the end of the Canyonlands plateau road Utah SR 313 and Grand View Point Road!
You amble around the short trails across the top just taking it some of the most fantastic views you'll see anywhere in the USA / Canada - honestly it's so beautiful it feels like your soul is being touched.

Green River Overlook
#3 of 10 Sights & Landmarks in Canyonlands National Park
Should that be the case, this Overlook is a must stop, and affords perhaps the best opportunity to view the Green River which is less known but is every bit as important as the more famous Colorado River.
Green Canyon Overlook is located in the Island in the Sky District at the end of a 1.4 mile (2.3k) paved spur road that departs Upheaval Dome Road just north of its turnoff from the main park road, Grand View Poin...
White Rim Road
#4 of 10 Sights & Landmarks in Canyonlands National Park
White Crack Point has vistas in all directions; looking south you have beautiful views of the Needles District, and looking to the west there are equally beautiful vistas of the Maze District.
It’s extremely beautiful, views are spectacular.

Whale Rock
#5 of 10 Sights & Landmarks in Canyonlands National Park
Whale Rock is a lot of fun to hike, mainly because part of the hike is climbing the humpbacked Whale Rock to get some higher views of the desert around you.
From that point it is an easy and scenic ascent along the tail allowing a grand panoramic view of "Upheaval Dome" and more.
Monument Basin
#6 of 10 Sights & Landmarks in Canyonlands National Park
This view is quite different from the rest of Island in the Sky and it does have the same feel as Monument Valley, some 200 miles away.

A side journey well worth getting to view this interesting formation.
White Rim Overlook Trail
#10 of 10 Sights & Landmarks in Canyonlands National Park
The views once you get to the overlook are breathtaking and its worth the walk to just sit and take in the most amazing vistas.

Road to Needles District Moab 12.6 mi away

The ride there had its own attractions, including gorgeous views and Newspaper Rock, the site of a very large collection of petroglyphs from numerous centuries.
Your reward is an amazing spot, a view of the confluence of the Colorado and Green Rivers.
