The caves are beautiful and the Park Ranger that gave our tour was very knowledgeable of all the history and stories of the area.
We tooked the shorter, Lodge Room Tour, of Lehman Caves in Great Basin National Park and were so pleased with the tour and with the ranger who lead it.

We had just one day, but were able to take in a grand selection of the Park’s wonders via the twelve-mile Wheeler Peak Scenic Drive, enjoying magnificent views of the mountains and surrounding valleys.
I have hiked through the bristlecone trail at Bryce Canyon National Park also, but the trees here at Great Basin are even more amazing in size and age.

We were visiting the park on a cold, fall day and only had time for one hike.

It was hot for sure since the starting elevation is lower than some of the other more frequented hikes in the park.
She sent us to Baker Creek Campground which was one of the prettiest campgrounds on our National Parks Tour.
