Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lots of nice shops selling food and souvenirs. Great place to spend a morning. Easy to get here via the MRT from central Taipei.

I have been coming to Taiwan for several years, and have recently been staying in the Xinzhuang district, the hotels and restaurants are cheaper than central Taipei, and the quality is very good. The Xinzhuang sports complex is a great asset to the area, it has a newly completed swimming pool complex and running track, situated within a very nice park area. I tend to do a lot of jogging and swimming when I'm working in Taipei to help burn off the huge amount of food I manage to consume when I am here :) so the area is perfect for me. There is also a newly developed 'creek' (which used to be a municipal drain or something) which extends about 2km from the NW corner of the park, which is also good for running and walking. There is also a gymnasium, tennis courts and basketball facilities, as well as free outdoor gyms and children's playgrounds...

The Keelung River has offered access to northen Taiwan for various colonisers, including the Japanese. It joins another major river, the Tamsui River, near Taipei, from whence it flows into the sea. Keelung is a deep-water harbour, it provided access to northern Taiwan for centuries. Keelung is the major port for northern Taiwan. Keelung is now an important port for international cruise ships. It is regarded as being part of the Taipei metropolitan area. It's known as "Rainy Port" because of its rainy skies.

Showtime is a movie complex, and in several cities in Taiwan there is a theater under this name. This Showtime is located in Hi Mall near Banqiao station. The location is good, but the shopping mall is poor.
