Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Kelly NParis, France19 contributionsIf there is one thing you need to do in Moorea, spend the day with a local!
We have chosen this excursion because we were keen on learning Polynesian culture!! We wanted to know their history, learn about the way they live and practice activities they are doing on a daily basis!
Well, we were served!!
Sam came to pick us up to our hotel in the morning and then took us at is place! We spent the morning fishing with him and his nephew Manu and then he took us back to his place, where his wife were cooking the fish we took in the morning! The lunch was great!! Delicious meal! We had the opportunity to discuss with them about the life in french polynesia!
In the afternoon, he took us to visit his plantation!
Sam is a lovely guide, you can feel that he loves his country, his history!
He is full of knowledge about tales and ancient histories!!

Matahi put us on the fish right away.
We caught amazing fish including three white tuna. But the highlight was the 54 kilo yellow fin...
On a hand line ! I've never had an experience like this it was surly once in a lifetime but I hope not.
We were back by lunch too.
Much respect to the crew
Thank you

WHAT A HIDDEN GEM! We were picked up from our hotel, and spent several hours on the beach discovering va'a, trying new foods, and making new friends! This was our 3rd time visiting Moorea, and without a doubt the best activity we have ever done on the island.Written 19 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
