Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Having walked the area for many years we didn’t know about Reraig Forest tours but today after a minor incident involving our car and a ditch, Colin stopped and pulled us out. My kids were a little shaken and Colin kindly invited us to meet his deer. We had no idea what a treat we were in for! Colin had the kids feeding the lambs and told us the most incredible local and natural history of the area. We then had the absolute pleasure of feeding the deer which is an experience I will never forget. We all left feeling pretty happy about the car in ditch incident as we got to meet this lovely man who not only rescued us but gave us such a wonderful educational and memorable afternoon. 5 stars really doesn’t cut it.

My husband and I visited together with other groups as a part of an excursion. The garden was meticulously presented with different sculptures. All the plants and trees were vibrant and looking extremely healthy. As a Japanese national, their Japanese garden as something to praise for! I would be very happy to return one day.

Classic WalkHighlands route of Bienn Liath Mhor, Sgorr Ruadh and Fuar Tholl. We had a dog so didn't take option to cycle up first part of the route. Splendid views in every direction. Still a bit of snow on the boulders which made footing a little slippy at times.

The round of Coire Lair from Achnashellach station, taking in Beinn Liath Mhor, Sgorr Ruadh and Fuar Tholl is a classic 9 hour ridgewalk. Easy access in and out by good stalkers paths. Great view west to other Torridon Hills.

After a meal in the neighbouring restaurant we popped over to the pottery shop. This was a gem of a find with authentic Scottish gifts. We bought sculptures of highland cattle and shortbread. With so much other unique and artisan products I wish I had bought more because in the course of the next week I couldn’t find another shop with such high quality products as found in this Carron Pottery shop. Individual and not mass produced so well worth a visit

Having used NineOneSix as the sole provider of winter skills training for the University of Stirling Mountaineering Club since 2010, I can say that the persistent high level of instruction has allowed this arrangement to endure every year since.

The instructors put specific emphasis on ensuring that members are practised at safe travel above the snowline, whilst also tailoring training to meet individual goals of each person. This over the past few years has noticeably increased the knowledge and general state of practice of winter mountaineering within USMC. Due to this success instruction from NineOneSix is now an embedded part of our Winter Meet, which is the largest trip the club runs each year.

Had the best time kayaking with Tom.

Brilliant instruction with Hugh quality kit in an amazing setting. We paddled with eagles and seals while exploring some stunning coastline.

Tom did a fantastic job of making me feel part of a stunning community and tailoring the day to my needs.

I also bought a couple of t shirts to commemorate my trip which arrived home quickly and were of the highest of quality.

Thanks again Tom. Looking forward to booking in for the next adventure
