Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had a great morning touring the mangroves and snorkeling. Trevor was a great guide, friendly and very knowledgeable about the ecological systems. Definitely recommend them. Restroom and fresh water rinse at the rental location. Kayaks are nice and easy to paddle.

Best shore diving in Bonaire. Rent a truck and bring enough air for at least three dives. It’s a full day to take it in but there’s plenty to do outside the surf as well. This is my favorite place on the island.

Lac Bay is one, yet there is Lac Bay for the windsurfers and there is Lac Bay for snorkelers.

The snorkelers have to walk for a bit to get to the deeper part, but if you catch the right conditions, the current is not that strong, you will be rewarded by the best underwater life.

We went there 3 times and the conditions were not favorable on the last trip, the current was very strong, we ended up fighting it instead of enjoying the corral and the fish,

However on the second trip there, we kept swimming and exploring the healthy and beautiful corrals with large variety of fish, all very near the surface, one feels like swimming in the aquarium.
It was our favorite place in all of Bonaire for the snorkeling.

Best dive on the island! Get a small group and an experienced DM. We saw an octopus! Our DM and captain from Harbour Village were excellent.

Right by our hotel Chogogo Bonaire, we were able to see an incredible variety of different fish species while snorkeling!

This is the nicest grocery store on the island. It is the most similar to a typical western grocery store. Most products (especially the premium items) are available here including many US-imports. Credit cards are accepted. Coins for the shopping carts are available inside from the security guards.

The museum is good for about an hour in the middle of a hot day in Bonaire. You will get a sense of the early years of the island and of course colonialism and slavery.

Nice lookout point to see the island or Klein Bonaire. Good for sunrise/sunset. Lots of people enjoying the hike/trail leading to the top. Parking is available. Not much to see/do once there though.

Yellow huts and blue sea, made for some interesting photos. Although the history is worth thinking about, not in the least when on holiday.

What a gem to find while driving through Rincon! The museum is well stocked with items and information that answers a lot of questions about the history of Bonaire and the culture. I was surprised it was all written in English but it was explained to me that people who speak Papiamento know their history and so many other tourists (and Dutch) speak English. We were fascinated and were the only one there at the time so we really enjoyed taking our time reading and looking over everything. I plan to return for the monthly events!

The caves are very interesting and Tama is a very good guide. We visited two caves and one of them had a swim through. The swim through is 12 seconds underwater which will be a problem for some people because you can’t see the end until you are halfway through it. Also, you need to be somewhat agile to climb down into the caves. I enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to adults and teens who enjoy novel experiences.

Local outdoor market just in front of the cruise docks and shops at Kaya Grand, the main street in Kralendijk, located only a short stroll from the Bonaire cruise dock port. Lots of stalls selling all manner of souvenirs, nearly all of which is targeted for the passing tourists. Fascinating insight into local culture.
