Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Informative chat about chocolate production. Then, the best ice cream we've ever had. So now we skip lunch and keep coming back here for ice cream instead! 6/10/15 ECD for 1/2/3 scoops. Wow!

Lovely secluded beach. Views are great. Quite rough the day we went so not able to swim. There is a car park and a beach bar.

Well worth a visit to appreciate the views, both over the town and inland. The town views encompass the new government house, the harbour and the town itself. Views inland give Mountain Views and were the direction the guns were directed. Fort is worth a wander giving an idea of the fortifications on the island and indeed the region. There are toilets!

    Absolutely delighted place to see.
The mesmerizing cascade captivated us, and the bar overlooking the waterfall provided the perfect vantage point. Sipping on drinks while waiting for the rain to subside added a touch of serenity to our visit.
A must-visit spot for nature lovers!

Completed by the French in 1710 and taken over by the British in 1763 following the French and Indian War (Seven Years War) fought for control of territory in the New World. It was also the site of the end of the Grenada Revolution in 1983. Fort George offers commanding views of the town, harbor and the surrounding coast. It is a modestly strenuous hike to get up here. It is worth visiting for the views alone. However, I deducted a point as the views are a 5 but the way the facility is managed is a 2. The Fort is getting renovated and most of it wasn't open for touring. Only a couple observation points were accessible. However, this did not stop them from still charging an entrance fee without informing me about the closures. When I politely requested by money back after returning to the entrance, I was rudely disregarded.

Our guide recommended it as a great spot for watching the sun set. It is a hike up hill which we didn't realize when started walking. We found a taxi who took us the rest if the way and then came back later to take us to our hotel.
You can walk to the end if the park and there is trail down to the rock at the edge to sit a watch from.

Great way to get see the rest of the island…starting north from St George.
The chocolate and rum factories were great to tour and the lunch stop was very scenic looking down the mountainside. Tuna with creole sauce was very good. Highly recommend this
    Day tour.

We had the best day with Joesph.. he was kind and super knowledgeable regarding the island and all the places we visited. He had waters, beers & juice in a cooler for us & always checked it to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Very professional and I would absolutely recommend this tour

This was my third time sailing on the Timshel. Twice previously with family; this time with 3 friends. This is an awesome experience. Margaret was there to greet us upon arrival, and the half day sail was with Mina and Dennis, both of whom were engaging, informative and highly professional. Mina expertly guided us around the underwater sculpture garden, swimming alongside us and explaining the history and significance of each site.
We enjoyed cold beers and delicious snacks.
This was a beautiful day out and I highly recommend Margaret and her team for anyone looking for a fantastic sail with family and friends.

Captain Walter and First Mate Sam took us on an unforgettable adventure. We felt like we got a unique Grenada experience. We saw beautiful sights and were made to feel comfortable and safe. The Rum Punch is on point.

We did the hungry birder trip (i.e. trip with lunch) march 2024. Group of 4 with our guide, Shawn. Good trip. Excellent 'sit on' kayaks which were very stable, even in the windy conditions we had. The route was interesting, we learnt loads about mangroves and the local ecology. Good individual lunches provided fresh by a local hotel, eaten on a beach. Very much enjoyed it. Trip length 3.5 hours aprox.

Our group of five did a wonderful waterfall and interior tour with Sheldon. His patience, knowledge and courteousness was first class. He has a passion for Grenada, it's beautiful countryside and wildlife and most of all its people. He has tremendous knowledge of the flora and fauna of the island, I would recommend taking a tour with him anytime.

Excellent experience!!!! We did the ASA 101, 103, 104 courses with Yvonne-so patient, fun, knowledgeable . Everything was well organized, great meals, super people, excellent instruction with lots of time for swimming and snorkeling. I highly recommend this school. Grenada and Carriacou are special places filled with beauty and kind people. We all got lots of time sailing--at the helm, practicing skills, learning about the engine, etc. We can't wait to return.

Mandoo is great! We took a half-day private tour around the island. We learned so much about Grenada and had a great time. The chocolate factory was a highlight, and the rain forest. Annandale waterfall was touristy, disappointing. But the ride was very worthwhile, friendly and informative.
