Plage de la Perle Deshaies
#56 of 267 Outdoor Activities in Guadeloupe
Quieter than other beaches, large waves for little kids so would recommend going there with kids only when it is calm or kids are happy being on the sand.
I suspect the weekends and tour times may be different, but we went on a week day and that seems to be the best time to enjoy these lovely beaches.

One of my favorite beaches on the island, and well worth the effort to get there if you have a spirit of adventure

Plage Leroux Deshaies
#61 of 267 Outdoor Activities in Guadeloupe
The surf is slightly rougher than neighboring beaches, but once past the break the water is calm and perfect for snorkeling, swimming, or floating.
If you are nearby and have time I would check out both beaches.
Plage de Grande Anse Deshaies
#62 of 267 Outdoor Activities in Guadeloupe
Great for swimming, beautiful to take long walks and a hike through the jungle to see some more beaches.
The beaches along the St Anne area are calmer but Grande Anse is exceptional.

St. Anne Beach Sainte-Anne
#69 of 267 Outdoor Activities in Guadeloupe
... Terre and Grande Terre we realized that it was a good choice because St. Anne Beach is in fact one the nicest beaches in Guadeloupe with lots of restaurants, shops, fresh produce stands and activities nearby.
Quaint Town with Breathtaking Beaches!

One of the nicest beaches in Guadeloupe
sometimes big waves and the children cannot go swim alone here to the see...dangerous.. but otherwise we really loved this beach!!
Plage de Petit-Havre Le Gosier
#79 of 267 Outdoor Activities in Guadeloupe
There are also kiosks if you want to plan a picnic with your friends and a park surrounding the beach if you feel like walking and exploring the tropical forest and take advantage of other views from the top of a...
We have tried this beach as we rented an apartment in the area and we found it to be the best combination of sand, water, snorkeling and calm for our family so we used it as the main beach during our stay.

Beautiful beach.
Ilet du Gosier Le Gosier
#90 of 267 Outdoor Activities in Guadeloupe
Tiny island with one restaurant/bar and 2 sides of small sandy beaches to choose from.
It is forest-like in the middle, and there are paths to two swimming beaches, an abandoned lighthouse and an abandoned boat.
Anse Tillet Deshaies

I loved the beaches along the northwest coast of Basse-Terre.
Its a perfect little bay with rocky sides and a golden sand beach.
Plage de la Datcha Le Gosier
#99 of 267 Outdoor Activities in Guadeloupe
one of the best beaches in Guadaloupe.
This beach is local, with beautiful warm water and wonderful views of the nearby island (Ilet du Gosier) and of the distant mountains of Bas Terre.
Plage des Raisins Clairs Saint Francois
#103 of 267 Outdoor Activities in Guadeloupe
Easy access into the water (not true for other parts of the nearby beaches which are pure rocks to the water edge).
We tried most of the beaches on Guadeloupe.
Plage de Pompierre Terre-de-Haut
#105 of 267 Outdoor Activities in Guadeloupe
Of the beaches we visited in Terre de Haut, and even compared to all those that we visited in Guadeloupe, this was our favorite.
Certainly in the running for one of the nicest beaches in Guadeloupe.
Plage de Malendure Bouillante

Next to Malendure, small volcanic sand beach ideal for snorkelling with hawksbill turtles and green turtles!
