Lots to keep kids entertained too - you can feed fish and birds, as well as look at the beautiful plants!
Truly exceptional garden with food and drinks lots of flora information with parrots to feed and a small petting zoo for children.

The setting is fabulous, located in the heart of a rainforest, probably unlike any other zoo you've been to...be sure to try the suspended walkways in the forest canopy, which is for children 8+ and requires a bit...
Very nice zoo, definitely nice for a visit with the kids, small and clean, organised well for aventure through the trees.

It gets crowded during the day with many families, but we were always able to find room in the shade!
Beautiful family beach
St. Anne Beach Sainte-Anne

This beach is so nice as it is sandy, shallow waters perfect for children and restaurants for lunch along the beach...one of my favourite place.
Wonderful beach for a walk- tons of families and couples along the beach.

The beach levels of gradually, so it's good for kids.

Quieter than other beaches, large waves for little kids so would recommend going there with kids only when it is calm or kids are happy being on the sand.
Also it is perfectly fine to go with young kids, keep an eye as the waves can be very powerful sometimes.

Perfect family beach

There are large waves on some days so there is a warning for a strong current however these waves are fun for older children and adults and on the days when the waves are calmer this beach is lovely for a swim.
Pretty great for families as well, though the water gets deep pretty quickly.
Pointe des Chateaux Saint Francois

The landscape is amazing and the short stroll to the cross on top of the hill is very easy, even with a young kid.
Even the access to the top is quite easy it is good to know that there are 150 steps on the stairways, on the very hot day it might be a bit hard way with small kids or if you have any difficulties to walk.

Our two children (9 and 12) and us have spent some rejoicing time at Domaine de Vanibel, a small family business up the hills near Vieux Habitants.

sometimes big waves and the children cannot go swim alone here to the see...dangerous.. but otherwise we really loved this beach!!
There are spots of crashing waves and other protected areas where kids can splash around.

A small but very nicely arranged park that has to offer something for each age group, from a typical creole house and historical info on Guadeloupe to expositions on piracy, kids playground/tree house, nice picnic...

Cascade aux Ecrevisses Parc National

We initially went to the side across from the car park and found there were lovely wooden shelters built with tables for families to sit and eat etc, there was a river with lots of places further in to have a swim...
It’s a place dear to my heart where my mother used to take me when I was a kid: a sweet escape, a very accessible place in the national parc of les deux mamelles in Guadeloupe (Basse terre Island).

Along the beach the water was calm and there were families with small children enjoying it.

The botanic gardens are beautiful, the nature walk calm and relaxing and the kids activities as well as the possibility of enjoying a coffee or a meal very welcome.
We visited the garden as a family of 4 with a 3 year old and a 5 year old - we all had a fantastic time and it was probably the best tourist site we visited for children in Guadeloupe.
