What travellers are saying
- MikopathBirmingham, UK61 contributionsWe took the guided tour of the garden and it was super. Lots to see, well worth a couple of pounds (plus a tip, of course) for a comprehensive tour and free sampling of fruit from lots of different plants…. Sugar cane, mango, coconut, pomegranate etc. Highly recommended. Wear long trousers and use bug spray if you get bitten…. the grass was only ankle-high but well-populated!Written 7 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- CleggyBroonLivingston, UK812 contributionsWe spend the best days of our holiday on Princess Margaret beach on the sun loungers next to Jacks bar.
The beach is pristine with the sand gently slopping into the warm Caribbean water.
Be careful as there was some clear sea urchins not far from the shallows.
Check the shallows with a snorkel to be sure or wear a good pair of rubber water shoes.Written 25 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - tocolighthouseBequia84 contributionsBequia is the SweetSpot of the Southern Caribbean. The small tourism office is right outside the ferry dock and a perfect start to your visit. Collect maps, brochures etc .. a friendly staff will guide you.Written 5 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Wandering BC GirlArmstrong, Canada1,361 contributionsWe took the ferry three times and each time we enjoyed it.
Staff was helpful, ferry seating was comfortable inside and out, food/beverage service on board, air conditioned and bathrooms.
We enjoyed meeting local residents commuting between St.Vincent and Bequia as well as St.Vincent and Union Island - many for work or to visit family.
Had a grilled sandwich from the concession- really tasty. Interesting to watch all the produce and other goods being loaded.
Ferry was a bit rough on one trip but not so bad that we needed gravol or were sick.
Affordable way to get around the islands, meet people and see other islands. We would definitely do this again!Written 25 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - SnorkelbearJackson, NH1,542 contributionsNice Snorkel Trip with Dive Bequia off S/V Mandalay Windjammer. Picked up on the ship. Dropped off on the reef and picked up on the end of the reef. Not a full 2 hours just over an hour. Nice reef. Lots of FISHIES!Written 31 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Davo513Erie, PA47 contributionsBequia is much like St Vincent for critters and coral,,,,,,,,This is in my opinion the healthiest part of the Caribbean for coral because of the small human footprint....There are lots of very healthy corals and very if not zero dead growths......The sea life is great for breaking out your macro lens,,,,many small guys ,seahorses, anemone shrimps, nudis and such.......don't expect the big guys unless someone gets involved with the passing whales.Which for now they don't venture out looking for some silly reason. The Wall itself is a great dive, beautifull drop and awesome grass beds with Gunards if you are lucky

The priest was enthusiastic, friendly and gave a spot-on homily. Their island choir was terrific too. Travelers and others were given special blessings. Very easy to Keep the Faith when here.Written 14 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Michelle CCanada39 contributionsBeing on the Atlantic side of the island, this is one of the beaches that has a fair amount of ocean trash wash up. However, it's not a great swimming beach because of the surf anyway. Hike is uneven and can be challenging, but a great little hike if that's what your looking for.Written 27 January 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- You Only Live OnceHigh Wycombe, UK425 contributionsPort Elizabeth is absolutely stunning. We took a ferry from St. Vincent from our cruise ship to Port Elizabeth, where we spent half the day on a stunning beach enjoying rum punch and relaxing in the sunshine on golden sandy beaches. Simply beautiful. We then took a bus tour along the coastline to see various sights of interest and our knowledgeable bus driver pointed out lots of interesting things along the way, with particular expert knowledge of the local vegetation.Written 18 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- BequiaNessLondon, Canada65 contributionsA great place to learn some local history. The kids loved it. No parking, glad we took a taxi. Has a beautiful view of the sea.Written 17 February 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- WineTastersTwoFrederick, MD141 contributionsThis was one of the stops on the island tour. They are in need of donations for building upgrades and turtle food.Written 8 April 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Valerie AFernandina Beach, FL169 contributionsRented chairs for the day with pads on them for -- good deal. Restaurants right there convenient for lunch. The snorkeling along the wall was fantastic -- tons of fish and live coral!!Written 16 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- markj418London, UK458 contributionsIts a great secluded beach. Just a shame that the only food and drink outlet is the over priced Bagatelle inside the Beaquia beach HotelWritten 6 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- JanMustique38 contributionsPublic beach but very secluded and quiet. Great for meditating or just relaxing. Nice picnic spot. The sugar reef restaurant is right there on the beach so perfect spot to grab a biteWritten 12 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- The World is My OysterOrlando, FL19,375 contributionsDefinitely a huge tourist trap! They smell blood in the water from miles, as they clearly know who the tourists are walking off the boat. Just skip it, it will save you time and a headache.Written 8 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
