Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a fantastic little golf course, Surely another of those "Scottish wee Gems". I highly entertaining round of golf with friendly members. The course is amazing and considering the time of year in fantastic condition. Apparently only ONE greenkeeper who I shook by the hand and congratulated him on the upkeep and condition of the course, what a tremendous job he does. When next in the area Muthill Golf Course is an absolute must play.

The church is just a ruin. There is a brief history on a board. The graveyard contains a Commonwealth War Grave which is interesting. It forms maybe a 20 minute diversion in the village.

This simple Celtic Cross war memorial stands in tribute to the men of Muthill who died in the two world wars. The cross is plain and the only embellishment is the nimbus. The monument is set within a raised area of gravel with stone walls in Highlandman Park, opposite the roundabout at intersection of Thornhill Street and the A822

We stayed at Glencroft (self-catering) in Comrie for Hogmanay. I wanted to buy local Scottish yarn and found the Strathearn Wool Studio - a working sheep farm. The owners (husband/ wife) are lovely people, sharing their knowledge of farming, sheep and management very generously. The owner had his herding dog bring in a small flock of sheep and showed how to control and move the flock - it was incredibly interesting. Great learning experience for older kids (9+). I also bought beautiful yarn made from the owners sheep and hand-dyed by the owner - Linda (one of the owners) even made me more of the colour I needed (hand-dyed) and had it ready for me the next day. Great experience with great people.
