Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

With so many shows to choose from in Puerto Vallarta my friends and I were beyond thrilled that we chose to see the Drag Diva show at Act2.

Three live singing drag queens direct from Provincetown, MA serving up all the DIVA numbers you love from Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Dolly Parton and more. Each queen brings their own style and power to their solo numbers but their group numbers really bring the house down. The opening number was incredible! Really lets you have it right out the gate and sets the tone for the rest of the hour plus show.

I believe there are 9 shows left so if you’re looking for a great show while in PV don’t miss these queens!

Delta, Qya, and Roxy - thank you for such a fun time! 💖💖

This is Vallarta old town with the best vibe for any age and better than the touristy Malacon! It is the original Vallarta with history folks. There is no better place to be day or night and I love coming here yearly. You see singles, couples, retired people, entertainers, families, all ages of people from the very young to older folks! The people I have meet here are so fun and interesting! They come from all over the world to visit, rent, work and live here. Everyone has an interesting story too. The selection of establishment's to grab a bite are from coffee shops, small places to larger ones with all kinds of wonderful food to eat at, and prices from inexpensive to fine dining. The shopping is the best in Vallarta! I have my favorite usual places I visit and there are always new shops to explore. The beach is such fun and you can rent a chair, stay for the day or book your stay at one of the nice hotels for a week or months. It is the heart of Vallarta and I love this special part of town. After dark the night life is rocking with all the cool bars and endless entertainment. There is something of interest for everyone! Enjoy.

Puerto Vallarta is an awesome destination for vacation! We had a great excursion experience with Vallarta Adventures, taking us to Yelapa and Majahuitas, feeding us, able to snorkel, kayak, ride a 4-wheeler, and visit some of the local community and vendors. The beach scene at Suyalita was a great vibe as well. A bit crowded, but the people are friendly and the food is excellent!

The transportation service was impeccable. Driver picked us up from the port in a private car, took us to destination quickly and safely. Gave us some history and a scenic tour of the city.

We had a wonderful experience at Playa Las Gemelas today. We wanted to go to a beach outside of PV proper and Yelapa seemed too far for two women traveling here for our first time. It was a Tuesday in November so it was quiet, which was welcomed. It seemed more locals, either from nearby towns or the condos on the beach. But the water was clean and clear with mild waves, the shells were gorgeous and the water temperature couldn't be beat. We Uber'd there instead of the bus. You're dropped on the side of the highway to take very steep and unkempt stairs down to the water (not handicap friendly), which opens up onto the beach. There, vendors make food, rent tables and chairs and have other fun things to look at / buy. You won't be disappointed.

Loved the bay front walk. Tons of restaurants and shops. Highly recommend La Chata’s beef and cheese fondue. Lots of sculptures and a beautiful church.

Playa de los muertos is actually a nice stop to make. The beach is a little rough but it has a nice vibe. A few restaurants on the beach - a short walk from el malecón and other nice spots! They have a few water sports as well! Cool place

Most people go during the day, but we went at night and it was wonderful! We had a taxi drop us off on Abasolo st, just a little ways from the staircase. The stairs are steep. It took us about fifteen minutes to get up them because we had to take a few breaks. Once up top near the cross it was beautiful. There is a little Cafe at top. There are also some dogs running around that I wanted to pet but decided against. Very enjoyable excursion.

We’ve seen this structure lit up at night and it’s beautiful. On this visit we were there in the daytime and it’s still very impressive. There were so many people on the beach and a line had formed to take the water taxis at the end of the dock. The colourful fishing boats were a pretty sight on the water. It’s a nice spot to take a rest and enjoy the views after walking on the Malecon.

Greg reached out to me ahead of time to give us a heads up on how to get there. This booking was a 'happy accident' as we've been calling it, we were looking at other tours and initially thought it was something else we had booked (whoops!). Zero regrets, this was a great experience and exactly what we were looking for. We took the bus, there and back, and it was very easy. If I can offer advice to any other travellers, plan to take the bus about an hour and a half before you need to be there! We came from the Hotel Zone. On the way you'll see more of the local area, fruit trucks, and residential area, locals getting off work and such and when you arrive, you'll be greeted with a smile. The estate itself is gorgeous and so peaceful. I read reviews about Greg and he absolutely is a gem, very knowledgeable and informative about his craft. On our next trip to Vallarta, we are already planning to come back here to see how Greg and his family are doing. 😊
