We booked this tour via Get your guide website (recommended by a friend) and we were satisfied we get to join this company for a tour. They gave us a chance to rest before starting their history lesson at the bus.Luis was very knowledgeable and translate Spanish to English well-learned some Spanish along the way :). At the Chichen Itza, our group was divided to English and Spanish speaking. Our group got Alexis as our tour guide and he was very informative and entertaining as well! We basically chose this tour just to see one of the 7 Wonders of the World but Maya history became more fascinating to me because of this and made me want to learn more about this Ancient civilization. The lunch buffet selections were delicious! The Chaya drink was addictive! The cultural experience at the community center we went to (food preparation and dancing) was interesting! The obsidian crafts were also beautiful and exquisite but a bit expensive, but I understand that the proceeds of all the sales go to the Maya communities and for the benefit of the younger generation. We also got Maya horoscope done by the Shaman which was very interesting! The Ik kil Cenote is a beautiful addition to the tour and the water was refreshing! Unfortunately, rain poured on our way to Valladolid and we only had 15 minutes to take photos which was enough time since it was pouring and a bit flooded. We only brought a small umbrella. But being wet with the rain is another great experience and it made the tour a bit more exciting!! The bus was also spacious with luggage bins and restroom in it. The bus and minivan drivers are all safe and great drivers! They provided bottled water but I recommend to bring more since it can get very hot and humid at the Chichen Itza and you ahve to pay extra for drinks at the buffet. Also, bring hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and umbrella in case it rains. If you will swim at the cenote, bring towels, water shoes and swimwear(all of these were at the tour website and email) The whole crew of this tour were excellent! I’ll recommend this tour and this company!
