Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A wonderful day out, the animals are clearly well loved and cared for with really lovely staff.
We took part in the fox experience, which I highly recommend! Our guide was lovely and taught us a lot about Teddy (Red Fox).
    Will definitely be returning!

each time we visit we are amazed by how well cared for the animals are and how hard the staff work. its not just birds , there are goats sheep and stuff like that
the flying displays are amazing and Andy the falconer is so knowledgable and passionate about his birds its inspiring.

After having read the reviews, some good and some bad, I decided to visit with my family. We were greeted by friendly staff at the ticket desk. My kids had alot of fun in the indoor play area and especially loved the enchanted wood play area and the two large slides. We had some lunch in the cafe which was good and fairly priced.Outside we were initially greeted by the sound of old rock n roll music coming from the dodgem car ride and haunting sound effects from the ghost train. We spent a while on the rides as the staff were more than happy for us to have several rides on each. The kids were very excited to be able to have a pony ride each and at £4 a ride we felt it was good value. We had a great time on the boating lake especially seeing the fish following us around the lake. It was lovely to see the emu, alpaca, lama and pigs but the highlight for me were the two beautiful shire horses. The old style organ music that plays from the beautiful carosell really took me back to my childhood going to the fun fair. All in all, a lovely family day out. There are a few places around the park that could use a bit of tlc but generally a very charming place. I have seen some reviews saying staff were rude and dirty! I can honestly say we did not find this to be the case and will definitely visit again.

Another one we did with friends (2 adults 5 kids all under 10). Almost 7 mile round trip via iWalk Cornwall. Absolutely beautiful place,I love Castle-An-Dinas anyway, its got some of the best views around in my opinion. There were places on the path that were overgrown but I fed back to the app developer (who responded super quick!) & all feedback from the app goes straight to Cormac too so hopefully those bits will be clear soon. This was our first walk with iWalk Cornwall app & I found it really helpful. If you leave the path it tells you, there are direction points with historical or nature information....really really good app if you like walking.

A fantastic resort made even more special by the spa. I had a fabulous facial with Charmaine and my husband had a massage with Jay which is the best he has ever had on a shoulder injury. Thank you for pampering us.

Wish this was nearer to where we live. Staying at the local campsite and was recommended this bakery / coffee shop.
Delicious artisan bakery with a great selection of freshly baked cakes and breads, all of which look amazing.
The sausage rolls were excellent as was the bagels, which were warm with Brie and plum chutney and were nothing like bagels you buy in supermarkets.
The coffee & cake was delicious too.
Not expensive for the quality of the food. You get what you pay for.
    Friendly staff too.
Definitely worth seeking out if you are in the area.

Came here after the couple running Trewan Hall campsite recommended it.

Real old fashioned pub with plenty of Cornish characters in it. But we’re made to feel welcome by the bar staff.

Lots of good Cornish beers to choose from at a decent price. Would give it 5 stars if they had more in stock as half the pumps were dry. Saying that, had a good few pints of Doom Bar in there

Very warm and friendly welcome. There should be more pubs like this. We had been in 2 other pubs that evening and this was the busiest by far.

AMAZING! Me and my family took a trip to retallack for Christmas, I decided I wanted to do the flow rider, after watching the show on Saturday 23rd, I was rather surprised on how easy they made it look. (That was awesome by the way)!
The staff were very friendly, changing rooms were a pain due to me being trans. They were very accepting.
The instructor (Aidan) was amazing and very kind, and showed us how to control the board and even taught us how to roll over on our board (I assume certain ages or capabilities) . We got to stand up once, then after Aidan gave us a choice of standing or bodyboarding. They had hot water in a hose to warm up after, and also a Costa in a bar area for warm drinks.
    Definitely recommend.

Wow the lodges are incredible, we stayed in 210 so much room for the family, en-suite bathrooms in every bedroom. Perfectly clean, fantastic quality linen and seriously gorgeous space. Massive kitchen/dining/lounge and a 2nd lounge also, perfect for a quiet break. Beautiful views and walking routes and loved the pool and steam room and hot tub. Can't wait to come back.
