Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Christmas lights over 1 million lights. The lake with the lights and music is excellent. Many paved walkways with lights.
    A lot of different variations

The Vancouver Seawall is a wall built around the waters of Vancouver to prevent erosion. We followed the wall by walking around Stanley Park. It is a calming way to get fit and enjoy the beautiful natural wonders of the area.

This was a great place to eat lunch during our Vancouver visit. There were so many options of food. The place was full of people but not as extremely crowded as other similar markets I've been to. And most importantly, it actually had some places to sit and eat (though you'd have to wait for a party to get up and leave). My family did a loop around, and then split up to go purchase our choices. There are also shops (many souvenir shops) around the market as well. We had to do a lap or two to find parking (paid parking in a garage) but again, it wasn't too bad. Clean restrooms located in a few of the different buildings. Go check it out if you're in the area!

We purchased the day pass so that we had the ability to hop on/off, which we were glad we did! The staff were very informative and had great recommendations. Loved that we never had to wait too long to have an aquabus pick us up!

We stayed at a hotel in Vancouver Downtown and found it very convenient. We were close to just about everything, transport, restaurants, art galleries, museums, shops and wonderful sights. We never felt threatened or concerned for our safety. The place is quite vibrant and lovely to walk around.

We spotted Gastown from the Vancouver Lookout, and we went afterwards. It's a beautifully lit area to take a stroll, grab coffee or dinner, and shop.

This is the main cruise ship terminal for Vancouver. The architecture is the drawcard, with the five distinctive white sails making it a recognisable landmark around the world. The area is rich in cultural and historical significance and well worth a wander.

I am amazed this is #17 on things to do in Vancouver because this beach/area is beyond fabulous! This is one of the top things we like to do when visiting Vancouver. Going during nice weather is best would go anytime of year. Parking is a complete nightmare, however, so take public transit if at all possible or an Uber. Great restaurants in the area. Go for a nice, scenic walk then enjoy a nice meal overlooking the water. You won't regret it.

You get a beautiful view of Vancouver for much less than you pay for at the Space Needle in Seattle. Perfect timing, we went just before sunset and the lighting was beautiful and got great pictures before and at sunset. We spotted Gastown from up there and that's where we went afterwards. It's a beautifully lit area to take a stroll, grab coffee or dinner, and shop.

Vancouver Public Library is an unusual building, bearing a resemblance, on the outside, to the Roman Colosseum. It is a vast building and quite attractive as well. From the top floor the views of the city are incredibly beautiful. This is an architecturally wonderful building worth visiting.

I enjoyed my visit to the Conservatory. It was $5.50 and really worth twice the admission charge. It consists of a tropical garden/jungle with various species of birds from warmer and more humid climes. It was interesting and educational and suitable for both young and old. It is accessible, however it is possible that those with breathing conditions may find the humidity oppressive.
