Love this park, has everything, swans, ducks, picnic places, beautiful flowers and trees, monuments, river, pond, tennis courts, swimming, children playground, etc.
Great for kids, couples, dogs, solo, nature lovers or just a spot to relax.

Thank you to John, retired Coast Guard, who shared so many wonderful tales of the Newfoundland light keepers and their families.
They have an adventure booklet with tasks for kids to check-off so that they learn the important parts of the history of the place and it makes it engaging and fun for everyone.

Anyways, travelling with our school aged children, this was a definite must on our list while visiting St. John's.

Geo Centre on way to Hill fabulous and perfect for kids Signal Hill...lots of history, knowledgable young people on staff.
We would recommend this visit to couples, families, or individual travelers as a must-see while in St. John's on business or pleasure.

There are fun walking trails for kids, like the batty bat trail and this year there are gnome houses all over the gardens.
Lights so creatively designed and walkways clearly signed made this a perfect after dinner walk with friends and family of all ages.

Quidi Vidi Lake trail is appropriate for families, singles, couples, elderly.
The large stones are great for sitting on and a special place for children.

Beautiful manicured with lovely flowerbeds, large trees and lovely walking trails throughout it is a great place to read a book, watch children play on the playground or summer splash pad.
