    Amazing experience~
    It all started with a chat on the flight. My friends and I flew to Yellowknife without signing up for any tours, we were planning to check out the local tours when we got there. However during our flight to Yellowknife from Calgary, one of us sat right beside Verda - the awesome business owner of Yellowknife Vacations, that's how our fantastic Yellowknife experience started~ The aurora season hasn't started yet but Verda was kind enough to arrange the tour for us. The first night Verda drove us to different locations to check out the Aurora, along with two awesome tourguides Janet & Angus. Two of us went to Whitehorse and Iceland respectively before, however we got no luck on seeing the Aurora back then. We were very excited when we saw the Aurora, it was quite cold (-35 degree c) but it totally worth it. There were hot drinks and snacks prepared for us, whenever we felt too cold, we could went back to the car with the heat on, enjoyed a hot drink and the warmth. They would take pictures for us as well guided us on how to use our cameras and phones to capture the beauty of the Aurora. On the next day, Verda arranged the city tour for us. Verda is very experienced and provided a lot of information and history of Yellowknife to us, we have learned a lot and had a great time~ on the third day, Verda arranged a glass workshop at the Old Town Glassworks for us, where we can put the pattern we want on the glass/cup we picked, it was a very interesting and fun experience~ the night before our departure, we have joined the cozy cabin tour where we could stay in a lovely cabin, nice bread and fish stew was served, and we could check out the Aurora anytime~ I would highly recommend Yellowknife Vacations to everyone~ :)

    A special thank you to Cindy and Tinny for showing us the Aurora. You showed us a great time, made the tour fun and many laughs.

    dog sleding
    We had a great experience with the dogs and the family that bred them. I was pleasantly surprised by this dog sled ride, we were very well settled. Then we had a friendly moment punctuated by stories around hot chocolate and breads and jam.
    I highly recommend it.

    Very good
    We are very lucky my to see Aurora all three nights. The tour guide Cindy and Tinny are very helpful and professional. They take brilliant photos for us. Would recommend to everyone who wants to visit Yellowknife.

    Highly Recommended
    I booked the Aboriginal Aurora Tour and Aurora Bus Tour with Yellowknife Vacations. Completely satisfied and highly recommended! After comparing several tour companies in Yellowknife, I went with Yellowknife Vacations My choice was based on pricing info, services and group size. Yellowknife Vacations has smaller group size and guide (Amit) knows everything about Yellowknife! Amit is the best guide, friendly, patient, and very passionate! He took unlimited photos for us even he was freezing in the -40 cold night! Overall, very customer-oriented company and would definitely recommended to everyone!

    Professional guides... they show spirit of HK
    Cameron falls are nice, but I would like to talk more about the guides.

    The guides are young snd full of energy. Super efficient. I cannot imagine they would send the pictures to guests right after the Aurora tour, which ends at 02:00... God, they need some sleep first! I highly recommend this company and their service is do much warm and friendly. They show spirit of HK people.
