It also makes a great area for family reunions, school activities (Terry Fox Run, X-country practice, Predator and Prey game, etc.) and it has a wonderful playground for children as well.
There is an annexed off-leash dog park great for hikers, a large expanse of open lawn for cross country skiers, yoga classes, and a fun kids playscape for the younger crowd.

The park is awesome for kids up to 10ish; the beach is beautiful and lots of space; washrooms are close by; the walking/riding path goes all the way around the bay and you can stop at many ice cream huts, the spla...
Wonderful by the lake, can swim, bask in the sun or shade, lots of room for a family outing any time.

The introduction of this type of art has enhanced the creative nostalgia in the children as well as several questions about its name in relation to Canadian Indian heritage.
I think depending how your family or friends look at this and the background of this piece that any age would enjoy this...maybe enjoying the visit with a stroll and a ice-cream cone or an order of fries.

Smart Moves is SO clean, well organized for kids of all ages to navigate well, friendly and educational.
The playground is big enough to go on if your an adult and want to play with your kid or if you want to relax and let your kid loose and have their own fun, there are plenty of chairs to sit on and relax.

In general, your dog will love walk and all the scents, your kids will enjoy the hike and finding animal tracks by the river and you will feel like you have driven for hours up the highway to get to a big name park.
