We had a fantastic trip with our guide Jefferson. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave great insights and information about the area, plants, animals and anything we asked him. Could not recommend him any more highly. A truly excellent guide. WWE climbed over the valley to two viewpoints. Excellent tour of the Cocora Valley and nearby coffee farm.

The best experience!! My guide was Pedro/Peter and he was so knowledgeable. He messaged me the day before with all the details and suggested things to bring which was very helpful. The driver to pick me up was on time and the day was perfect. Honestly I couldn’t find anything to improve. Peter knows EVERYONE in Salento and showed me the best local spots. And even after he gave me recommendations for future days and future cities. I will recommend this to all my friends who come to Colombia. Thanks for a great trip!!

I had a wonderful time!! Soledad was an amazing tour guide. She taught us so much about the vegetation and the history behind the valley. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone thinking about it. It was more than a tour and really an amazing experience that I will always remember. Thank you so much to Soledad for showing us around Salento and giving us such an authentic experience :))

Very VERY impressed with the services provided, transportation, guides, accommodations and the overall experience.

Getting to over 16,000ft was a dream come true for me.

And on a side note, all of Colombia was enjoyable, 2.5 weeks there and I enjoyed every minute

From the greeting at the airport to the farewell when we left, this was a wonderful trip. The drivers and guides spoke perfect english and were very knowledgeable, answering all our culture, history, food, etc questions.
We explored many highlights from fantastic beaches, historical forts, and the most delicious food. We also attended a cooking class - and learned so much about the culture and history of Colombian food as well as hands-on prep, and then enjoying the food we made.
We also asked for ‘light’ days as we are 65+ yo travelers, and they planned perfect places for a light day.
Go to the coffee plantation, which also has chocolate - as I have never tasted, absolutely wonderful! - well worth the interesting drive up a mountain! And the Bird Sanctuary! The most colorful birds!
The Travel Group Mgmt. Helene was in contact with us almost every day - ensuring we were enjoying our trip and if any changes needed to be made. This was a nice touch to have someone you could contact if ever needed.
Would we go back? Oh yes. So much more to see and do!

If you're looking for the perfect coffee tour, visiting cocora, and walking around salento, this is your lucky day because you've found the right business to make that dream vacation happen! Mafe is an extraordinary tour guide and Mauricio was earlier than expected to pick us up. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot about wax palm trees and the story of the surrounding areas. The Luger's coffee farm is absolutely beautiful and it covers everything you need to know about coffee. All visited sites were magical and we didn't have to worry about anything just enjoyed the ride and the places they took us. This was a premium and worthy experience.

Loved this tour, it had everything we wanted. Daniel was an excellent guide and pointed out a lot of things we would've missed about plants, nature, native birds, and the history. The horse back riding was a great experience but in the short side, there are other tours that feature more of that if you want a longer house back riding experience. The views from the lookout of the cocora valley are stunning. You will see nature in its splendor as well as all the photo op spots (the hand, wings, cocora valley sign, etc).

There's also the option of a seeing a bigger waterfall or smaller one. We chose the one big one. The hike to get there was steep and challenging so be forewarned. We made it and it was worth the effort. Bonus, this cute dog that lives on the area will walk up with you and guide you to the spot.

Overall great experience and I would recommend.

This was an absolutely incredible experience and I would highly recommend it! Cezar was really knowledgeable and a great guide. The views were absolutely stunning and my horse was really sweet. My only complaints are with the description of the tour. In the description it says "walk" but this was definitely a hike. I tracked it, and it ended up being 6.8 miles total and 1400 ft of elevation gain- on foot. I love hiking, so this wasn't a problem for me, but I know that's not the case for everyone. It wasn't super clear from the description how intense it would be- it seemed as if the hardest parts would be done on horseback, but the horseback portion was roughly 30 minutes. I definitely would have worn more appropriate footwear and clothing if I realized. Some of the pics of the tour also included the Cocora valley sign and sculptures that are more like photo ops, ex the angel wings, and woman with her hands out, so I thought we'd be walking around and seeing these in a much more casual manner- you can see these sculptures but from a distance, the experience was much more about hiking down into the valley.

Francisco guided us through the Valle de Cocora. He was very informative. We started early so we had the cloud forest to ourselves and beat the afternoon rains. Everything went smoothly he provides water, snacks, a lunch afterwards in town, all the transportation and entry fees, rubber boots and trekking poles if needed. The views, orchid and hummingbirds are amazing. Great company

I absolutely adore waterfalls and history, therefore, I try and seek them both out everywhere I go and I must say this tour did not disappoint. Pedro, my tour guide, was so informative, knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Salento and Colombia in general. I learned so much! 10/10 recommend!
