Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a challenging walk that demands preparation and determination. I tackled it in December, starting at 5 am, and completed it in under 9 hours despite the cold and rainy conditions—exactly as expected for the season. A highlight of the early start was catching a meteor shower between 5 am and 7 am, which made the effort worthwhile.

This route is not for the faint-hearted, so approach it seriously and plan accordingly. We stayed overnight in Settle, which was convenient as it’s only a 10–15-minute drive to the starting point.

Great walk with fantastic views. We walked up anti clockwise and in parts it was hard going but worth it once at the summit.

Deep within a wooded gorge and is a perfect secluded spot loved by everyone who finds it.
Path down to the falls can be slippery.

When I look around churches I am most often interested in historic artefacts or particularly notable artwork etc., yet I am often most impressed and moved when I visit simple village or rural churches. The ones which, over the centuries, have served small, and/or remote communities.

This simple church in Horton is exactly that, and as we looked round the little church I loved the fact that it was crammed full of kids toys and their drawings etc., showing that this old church has moved with the times and is now clearly used as an important community asset.

And in the same vein, and almost icing on the cake, I was amused to find that the door directly next to the altar, rather than leading to some historic part of the church’s structure, led straight into a working and obviously well-used kitchen.
    Priorities or what?
I loved it - and well done to all.

This place was very average, not deserving of the one stars reviews, at least in my opinion. The pub has some character and age, unlike the Crown down the road. The food and beer were OK.

This was completed by 20+ of us as a charity challenge to complete in under 12 hours. I'd definitely recommend anyone doing the 3 peaks walk even if you are not used to walking. Maybe not all 3 together though!
The scenery is spectacular and on what was the hottest days of the year we helped each other along.
