Whole family really enjoyed the trip and we were lucky go up on a day when the visibility was excellent so managed to see Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales.
Mountain Railway very informative, great for kids and adults of any age.

Lovely place to walk to, it is a beautiful spot, and has stunning views from the top, children love walking around it they find it fascinating.
Its cool you can climb to the top and what a really good view and a bit of bravery needed by the kids as the go all the way up.

Kids and parents enjoyed this in equal measure and the way the train and station have been lovingly restored is amazing, a real treat.
The volunteer staff are universally friendly towards children and visitors, and the Glen with its waterfalls is worth exploring although it can be very muddy so boots/wellingtons are in order.

We go every year we're over and my 2 children adopt a horse every time (only £10 per horse) beautiful setting and a great charity, it's lovely for the children to feed the horses
