Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Rachel SCardiff, UK49 contributionsBeautiful majestic imposing building in this quaint little village
Architecture amazing with the steps leading up to entrance and magnificent dome as you drive into PrcanjWritten 14 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The hike up a pilgrims pathway requires some level of fitness but views are panoramic ... over to Kotor Old Town. This is a great spot to photograph Kotor & all its fortifications stretching up Sveti Ivan Mountainside.
Some staged photos are easy to envisage, & the hike up & back is justified by the gobsmackingly images you take home.Written 25 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Pity the three sisters but the sailor would have been happy I'm sure!;)Written 11 September 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - turoarSwan Hill, Australia631 contributionsIt was a very hot day when we were here at this Monastery but nice and cool inside. Interesting to see the way they live and they shared their work with us to see.Written 22 February 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Neil GWorthing, UK6 contributionsHave to 100% recommend this place in Prcanj for SUP and Bike Hire.
Friendly English speaking staff and probably the best prices in the Kotor area.
I hired a inflatable paddle board which came with adjustable paddle and leash on two occasions during our stay prices at time of writing - optional pfd
5€ per hour or 20€ for the day with no deposit required. ( something you will never see in the uk )
They have at least 10 fair quality boards so no real need to pre book and launching was easy from a shallow slipway just opposite the shop, I am an experienced paddler so on day one I paddled to near the Lady of the Rock Island and back in under 3hrs.
They also hire bikes daily at very reasonable cost (get there early for this) and they run day trips.
I cannot find a website for the Friendly Trip Company but they are located on the coast road in the main part of Prcanj opposite the striped lighthouse.
