What travellers are saying
- KerrySouth Africa58 contributionsI took my 22 year old daughter to the American cemetery whilst on a 3 day overlay in Manila. I wanted her as a Millennial to " feel and see" the sacrifice of the American and Filipino soldiers gave" so we can enjoy and value the lives we lead today ( I have been on a prior trip).
Grounds and visuals are immaculate and the pride and dignity given to the fallen soldiers is commendable.
The Green Team ( gardeners) and staff are all warm and compassionate people.
LJ was our guide and he was knowledgeable and passionate about relaying the battle plans which he pointed out to us in the map rooms. He also shared a few personal ,researched stories of soldiers which was meaningful and touching.
The museum is one of the best I have visited with regards to the Pacific War. It is well structured and the visuals exceptional with a plus of being air conditioned in the Manila heat.
All staff we interacted with were people of true compassion and warmth who reminded us of the ultimate sacrifice these fallen men and woman had given.

- BalkrishnaShroffMumbai, India20,926 contributionsBonifacio High Street is the best place in Manila to spend your free time especially in the evening. There are number pf shops, malls, restaurants, bars, cafes and night clubs on this entire stretch. It gives the feeling as if you are in some European town. It was full of life when we visited on Saturday evening.
Loved it...Written 25 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. That this mall’s design themes were Venetian inspired is actually a novel and cool idea. It makes it worth visiting just for the sake of experience it even without doing any major shopping. We visited a couple of fast food restaurants while there, and it was particularly nice to enjoy dining here with great views of the canal.Written 2 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. After some walking, u can cool down and buy some drinks from the kiosks or adults can enter malls and buy food for take out. U can also rent a bike, there is an exhibit on plants when we visited and maybe more activities at night. Just wear masks and faceshields and of course, maintain social distancing.Written 5 March 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
