Pope Beach is a great family beach - the sand is much softer than Lakeshore, there are shaded areas, picnic tables, barbecue grills, and the bathrooms are CLEAN!
We also visited pope beach on our vacation great family beach nice clean sand with a very gradule slope into the water for small children.
