#2 of 114 things to do in Richmond
My 6 year old son loves the Cannery, both kids will play for hours at Garry Point with their kites, and the playground at Steveston park is perfect for older kids and toddlers.
Steveston is a very charming village perfect for a a relaxing walk and for spending time with friends and family.

Wonderful to wak around Garry point Park, great place to watch kites being flown by all sorts of enthusiasts, great place to pack a family picnic, great place to walk your dog or ride your bike
It is a great place for walking, kite flying, family gatherings, or just enjoying the view: Pacific Ocean to the west, Fraser River to the south, Mount Baker to the east, and the North Shore mountains to the north.

The kids really enjoyed it and we will definitely return when the weather is warmer and with family and friends visiting.
Coupled with a visit to the nearby pier (and the boats where fresh fish is sold) and lunch in any one of the numerous restaurants, this can easily be an entertaining entire-day adventure for couples or families.
