Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I walked a circular path from Worth Matravers starting/ending at the car park, it was approximately 6miles.

The car park has clean bathrooms.

Bring £2 in coins to pay in the honesty box.

There are numerous paths that intersect, make sure when you print out a walk of the area that you bring both the print out and a map or you might take a wrong turn.

A portion of the cliff paths are close to the edge. The views are fantastic!

Warning: there are some VERY steep stairs that both descend and climb (see photo).

The day I went it was very clear, I saw Portland Bill.

A workout for your knees and ankles to get there but fascinating once you do. Rugged coastline and ancient landscape. Plenty of "danger" and "keep out" signs but no serious effort to prevent entry. We stick to the open area to avoid any rockfall or roof collapse

From the nearby car park. I had to ask a few people which direction to Chapmans Pool. 5 mins walking I found the wooden sign directing To The Beach..... It was very steep, narrow, very much a challenge - one part a rope is kindly provided to assist the decent. I was lucky it had not rained as I'm sure it would have been twice as hard.
A kind young couple with baby had aborted that signposted route and suggested a much better way back up to the top which was fine. I suggest when you reach the wooden sign Avoid. Turn directly left down the cart track instead.
I took the following day to recover! Otherwise well worth the visit.- take snorkel gear too. Challenging decent down signposted track
