Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Happened on this place after a gig at O2 and was drawn in my live music in the window.

We loved the place, lovely vibe, old and young singing along to live music. Good drinks, mid range price but worth it.

Visited late on a sunny winter afternoon, it’s a bit steep with tiny steps so those of a nervous disposition should avoid. But the view from the top is great. Shame some people leave letter and graffiti. It is a bit smelly in the stairway. Maybe a spring clean is in order from a volunteer group. Well worth to hike to get to it.

This is an excellent trip down memory lane and beyond. The museum is packed out from roof to floor full of interesting things to see.
I come from a farming background so a lot of the exhibits and old tractors bring back memories of my childhood.

Good clean toilets, good parking on site.
There is a cafe offering great food and drinks at very reasonable prices.

Did this with some friends and, needless to say, I will be doing again. Gary our guide was phenomenal. Knowledgeable, engaging, witty and keenly observant of all his guests. Although the weather wasn't operating in full cooperation with our plans to view the city of Bristol, it was an excellent tour.

This is definitely a place to visit and take in the history of Bristol.
The cemetery is a beautiful place for a walk and reflect on those that have passed. The work to restore this important site is to be commended and supported.
The cafe (and toilets) are clean and made a great stop during our visit. Vegan and gluten free products available

Really peaceful oasis in a busy city centre. Learned a lot about the Methodist church and its role in ending the slave trade. Well worth a visit.

So glad we came here today

We went to Nevis a few years ago and went to Pinneys Planation

To see his home and read the history is upsetting but essential sadly

    The guides are very good

    Thank you

Hidden gem, well worth 10 minutes of your time. Delightful architecture with some thatched cottages. Homes are occupied so just a little look around at the outside.

History in the heart of the city!
Exquisite Tudor wooden panelling and carvings, fireplaces, engravings and interesting furniture.
We visited close to Halloween so some rooms had ‘ghosts’of previous residents bringing the history to life.
Very well done, interesting and great fun😃

Fine but hard work, if like me you are a 78 year old, with post covid tiredness and other health issues.

We visited and took part in three activities, for my husband's birthday. We did Archery, Clay Pigeon shooting and Axe/Knife throwing.
The site is super well organised and the team are very friendly. Our co-ordinator was called Simon - and he was brilliant. We're quite competitive and he helped us make a challenge out of the games.
Safety is paramount, because lets face it - these are weapons. Its taken seriously as you'd expect.
We spent three hours having THE BEST fun. We would highly recommend Bristol Activity Centre - we're already planning our next visit!

Amazing - just so so beautiful! Felt privileged to be there. Paths lined with majestic trees and an active lake with ducks and swans. A small island in the middle where you can see squirrels, birds and other rodents wondering about. Play area was good for the kids and there was also a skate park and a small basketball court. I haven't visited much in the past but my rediscovery during the recent lockdown walks made me wish I had!!

…with a large playground area and plenty of animals with which to interact. The shop and cafe are also excellent in terms of quality, if admittedly glacially slow sometimes.

Long and interesting history, well-explained on the information boards. Well worth a visit to see the changes over the centuries.
