Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The place was amazing to go and eat at with some friends. Great service when ordering drinks, was told about their being food. Food was amazing, and quick to come to us. The experience we had was enjoyable with friendly faces greeting us and a nice game to play while we laugh.

Tried the Cherry Tree for the first time and wasn’t disappointed friendly and attentive staff that make you feel very welcome. The food was very well cooked I had the steak and it was done to perfection one of the best I have had in a long time. A great little pub will definitely be going back!

Went with friends for Sunday lunch at the Black Lion for the first time today. The food was really great, I had the trio roast. Really generous portions and obviously all freshly cooked. The staff were really friendly and attentive, couldn’t do enough. Definitely be going back. Highly recommend the black Lion.

The BV has suffered over the years, then
Alex came along, now we have good beer, desirable ciders and for the first time (don't get me wrong I love this pub) toilets that smell bearable!! Good beer, live music, happy people. A lighthouse in Wycombe.

No reason but we've not been to the Earl Howe for a long long while but won't be leaving it so long again. This is a friendly pub serving well kept ales and a traditional Sunday Roast. Generous portions, plenty of well cooked veg, and food came out hot. Great value, well cooked, good service and family friendly. Ticked all the boxes for a casual Sunday Roast at a friendly local pub.

It's back to its old name now, the Flint Cottage, has been redecorated & has proper popular main brands of beer. I went to see a rock band on Sat 24th & the pub had a decent crowd.......not full, but it had ambience. Worth going back to.....

I’ve been coming here since it opened in 2008 and it’s always met my needs but it never has seemed ‘finished’ - the roof could be better/exist in places! It’s also quite windy at times I’ve found.

When they have their club nights on i'd give it 5 stars because there's nothing like it anywhere outside of London and Bristol with a few exceptions. Great DJs and excellent DnB and House. However these don't seem to be happening to the same extent now. Otherwise it is not good unless your idea of fun is sitting among a load of alcoholic halfwits smoking cigarettes in the garden till 5am and 'resident DJs' playing the most appalling pop music. Good vegan nosh though. On non club nights it deserves 2 stars. The beer choice is very limited and they never keep the one ale they do in good condition;somehow it always tastes off. Having said that i very rarely drink alcohol in this establishment and stick to water or soft drinks.

So I’ve been going to this pub on and off for years. I recently started to visit it again after a break. New management have given it a coat of paint (yay). On the down side no bar snacks and only John Smiths as a Bitter option! Don’t let the Rebellion and Doom Bar pump clips fool you, they don’t have any.
When we asked why no bitter we were told the new managers say they are not asked for it. Well, to the Managers, no one is going to ask for something they can see you don’t have. Also did it occur to you that drinker have a choice of pubs and if you have a bitter drinker in a group of larger/cider drinkers and they are collectively deciding where to spend their money, knowing you “don”t do bitter or ales” (JS doesn't count) could quite well steer the whole group somewhere else.
I truly hope the Three Tuns survives, god knows we’ve lost enough pubs, but this not give your customers the minimum choices one would expect to find in a pub just seems like suicide to me. Good luck folks.

Excellent pub! Decent priced drinks, good company, pool and a juke box!!! This is one of the traditional. local pubs that need supporting, otherwise we'll be left with souless, gastro taverns. The landlord and clients are very welcoming and friendly.
