- Kate R5 contributionsI enjoyed going around the mix of Cambridge center and then out to the American cemetery. The bus ran to time and driver was very helpful. However the bus itself was very rattly and together with the poor surface of the roads made for a bumpy ride. - vincent L5 contributionsGood to have Danxia tour guide and Kulvinder driver today, The tour is amazingly bilingual with Mandarin and English. I love it and it is easier for me to absorb information. The tour guide is professional to tell us follow which route and what time getting on bus, and also introduce some interesting stories and famous spots. She also comes to and looks after everyone to ask more about our next itinerary. She suggests many good advice to us. However, the travelling time is long, 2hr x3=6 hr on bus, also the noon time in cambridge is not enough, I cant get in restaurant or even walk around whole city. Also the bus has a tablet in front of seat, but no wifi can stably provide. - Liza S1 contributionThe tour itself was really nice, but we definitely needed more time in both cities, less than an hour isn't enough. We would have liked more free time to wander around.
Our tour guide Manon was really great, her explanations about the places were good and also simple, and every asked question was properly answered.

Then a rest stop was made with a highly challenging 5min allowance and unsurprisingly a number of people were late coming back.
Then the driver, apparently on his first drive to Cambridge couldn’t find the guide upon arrival and we had to drive around to attempt to locate him
By the time we got to the guide, he promptly announced that he would try his best to cover the tour but we were late !
To round it up, for some reason the driver couldn’t land the drop off at the end of trip and we had to circle back so more driving around
This should have been a very simple trip but felt disorganised and the Cambridge experience quite compromised as a result .
Cambridge was very crowded with many tours and there were a lot of shops and restaurants .

She told us so much about the history of London, Oxford and Cambridge, answered all of our questions and showed us around in Oxford & Cambridge. The Trip was very well organised from the beginning till the end. Our driver Max was also very friendly and polite. The whole trip was just LOVELY! - Curious Energy5 contributionsThis day trip from Brighton was perfectly timed, informative, and fun. We had enough time in both Greenwich and Cambridge to see the highlights. Optional punting was a great way to finish up.
Our guide, Gerry, was knowledgeable, helpful, and super-flexible. He showed us all the English country side and towns that are so quaint and lively and fun. This is an experience to be had. Thank you Carl for giving us the English tour ! Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - USTraveler1 contributionVery good for its value. GoEUGo is a Hong Kong-based company and it seemed that a majority of its clients were from the East. The tour guide (Andy/Andi) was very good about accommodating to the diverse international audience aboard the tour. We thought his English was pretty good and he was very available for any questions and advice during the tour. He wasn't necessarily a history professor but was very kind, available for questions about the areas (bathrooms, restaurants, shops, etc.), and did a solid job trying to herd all of the families on the tour.
You're on a bus with other families. Assigned seats because some families only join for certain parts of the tour. So the tour group expands and contracts as you move along.
Be aware that if you travel during Christmas and the New Year many places may be closed.
Also, you're basically trying to see all of the UK in seven days . . . it's going to be fast. If you only have a certain time-frame in which to visit, and you don't want to 'break the bank' to do it, it's a great option.
We were really quite pleased. We never could have seen as much as we did in the time that we did by trying to coordinate the trip on our own.
We acknowledge some of the concerns mentioned in other reviews but we really had a good time and I could present reasonable counter-arguments/explainations for all of the complaints I've seen listed by others (but it would take too long to do so here). We understood some stuff would be closed for the Holidays and knew we would be moving fast (which is what we wanted because we didn't have a long time for our vacation in the UK anyways).
Maybe some of the negative reviews had different tour guides than we had (Andy/Andi)? Our tour guide was great!

We walked King's College, the chapel, and the grounds and along the backs. Mid-day we travelled to the 3 Horseshoes in Maddingly for a wonderful lunch. And then back to Cambridge to visit other historic colleges on the backs (Trinity, St Johns, etc). Then through town centre and back to London. The trip was peaceful and memorable. The private car service was both helpful and made the trip much more pleasant. Thanks!
