Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Melanie SAdelaide, Australia11 contributionsWe hired bikes for two days for our family (two adults, two kids). They were very helpful and the bikes are great, but for four bikes it cost us more than hiring a car which was a bit disappointing.Written 28 August 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Babyfor2013Coventry, UK141 contributionsWow! So pleased my friends and I booked our punting with Granta Moorings.
We were lucky it was a beautiful summer’s day in September.
Seb was our guide and we were on a shared boat with some tourists who were also using an interpreter.
Seb was great at avoiding all the ‘self-punt’ boats. (Honestly if you’re considering self-punting don’t bother it is way harder and more tiring than it looks!)
We booked an 11am Saturday ride and so glad we did as was super busy and queues out the doors by the afternoon.
Some of the other rival companies seemed super pushy and trying to get you to sign up to boats. Granta don’t seem to need to resort to those tactics with grabbing people off the street and having placards so they get my vote for that too!
Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful city with us Seb!Written 23 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They were incredibly helpful recommending a route in advance and helping to adjust the bike on the day. We were provided with a pannier, puncture repair kit and bike lock. On returning they made us a very welcome cup of tea. They design and make their own bikes. When we were looking this was more expensive than some of the other tandem hire options but the draw of the flat land in the area was too tempting for us and this was definitely a good choice. Having picked up the bike you can quickly join the cycle lane by the guided bus route thus avoiding the roads.Written 26 July 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
