Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited on a rainy day for something to do. Really interesting and educational. Good hands on activities. Staff friendly and helpful. The tapestry gallery was also interesting and we learnt a lot.

We had found this gallery by accident 2 years ago and were afraid it might not still be there. We were delighted to come across it again.Just wandering around the building is a joy in itself. It has undergone such a wonderful conversion from the original. The displays of art work were so beautiful it was breathtaking.I think it was the highlight of our trip to St Helier. We were free to wander and enjoy at leisure. It was a real treat.

We visited Jersey including Gorey Harbour in the first week of September 2023. Initially to see the marvellous Orgueil castle, we went back later in the week to explore the harbour. Jane James Handmade Ceramics was a beautiful shop that was a must to go inside and have a look around. There was no pressure to buy, and the shop assistant (Heather?) was polite, friendly and very helpful. We wanted to bring back a small souvenir from Jersey that reflected the loveliness of the island and that every time we looked at it, it would remind us of how beautiful the island was and the friendliness we received from everyone there. The collection of handmade ceramics was outstanding, and we could have easily spent a lot more money. Unfortunately, our luggage would not have coped with the extra goods!

Thank you, Jane and Heather, for a wonderful shopping experience.
We hope to return again one day!

    Best wishes.
