Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really interesting visit. Fascinating to learn about what happened on the Island during occupation. Plenty of information to read, we didn’t get the audio tour so can’t comment on that. Worth a visit especially if it is raining! It is quite cool in the tunnels.

We visited on a rainy day for something to do. Really interesting and educational. Good hands on activities. Staff friendly and helpful. The tapestry gallery was also interesting and we learnt a lot.

Brilliantly renovated house, the Georgians sound like they were very comfortable.
The house has history from day one, a very interesing trail of decline and recovery. Volunteers are there who are very knowledgeable about the building.

Came to jersey as part of my wife’s 50th birthday treat we visited this little museum as we are both interested in classic cars. On the out side it didn’t look much but once you get inside it is clear to see that a persons love of all things transport wise has turned into a passion.
We were extremely surprised at how much was inside the building and it was all still cared for which is obvious in the fact that the place was so clean and well kept.
    The price was very reasonable.
We would strongly recommend a visit here if you love transport as much as we do.

On this visit we did not cross to the lighthouse but instead had a wander around the defences built by the Germans. They are impressive and well worth a visit.
Not open on day we visited but still enjoyable.
The large flowering bank of Hottentot fig below one of the emplacements were spectacular.
