Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Lisa LPeterborough, UK210 contributionsSuch a beautiful place but you need to be fit to walk up and down to the bay. However, it is very much worth it. There is a Cafe halfway down which will help with the journey. Also, resting places are available.
Really lovely.Written 23 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is a lovely walk by the quayside with views across the bay to Fort Elizabeth and St Helier. There is also a choice of coffee stops and other food outlets and a convenient store to take on supplies.Written 26 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Vivien W29 contributionsA great find on the 12A Liberty Bus. Beautiful scenery. A steep walk down to the beach so wear suitable shoes/boots - worth the walk back up.Written 7 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - baggers21Wigan, UK336 contributionsLovely place with a harbour, tea rooms, cafe on the harbour wall (Hungry Man) and shop selling interesting stuff and tea room. Really enjoyed our visit here. Parking is limited though and we had to park up the hill and walk back which was a big walk.Written 20 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LadyMaryMontaguZürich124 contributionsNice little outdoor swimming pool in the sea. Needs a cover of paint, though. Depending on the tide, the outside ring and the float are under water. Changing rooms and toilets available as well there was a lifeguard on duty. The kiosk serves very tasty tacos.Written 28 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
