Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely beach to visit, with lots amazing caves. We got the bus from St Helier there which are not as frequent as other places on the island, but plan it and it’s easy. There are car parks which are free. You get to the beach either walking down a lone road or take the steps and path along the coast section. There is a lovely cafe at the top of the beach and public toilets. In high season the cafe gets busy at peak times, but well worth the short wait. Steps down to the beach and then a bridge. Only really accessible at low tide. Lots of lovely caves, perfect for children to explore. Lovely sand and sea lovely to swim in, but only really safe to swim when the lifeguards are there, as there are strong currents.

This is a nice area to take a stroll around, and watch the world go by, plenty of areas to take a seat, and take in the views. Well worth a visit.

Enormous sandy bay with WWII atlantic wall and fortifications. Wonderful sand. Whole bay is walkable when the tide is out. Plenty of places to get food and drinks. Easily accessible by bus

I passed this Bay higher up. It looks amazing. Very quiet and sheltered. Lots of steps down to it though. No facilities in the bay.

Free parking. Gorgeous little bay with a fabulous beach. Very good cafe on the front. Great place to just sit or have a paddle.

The reason for the visit was a return to a work place, 40 years later.
Also heard on the grapevine that a crab sandwich @ Mad Marys beach cafe was essential.
The bay itself is a clean, quiet, pebble beach used for a range of diving activities. The now defunct 4 star "Waters Edge Hotel "is in a sorry state, apparently waiting for redevelopment.
And finally an excellent packed crab sandwich, worth the visit from "Mad Mary" who should be renamed warm & welcoming Mary.

This is a lovely, relatively secluded beach with excellent sand. It is backed by marshland with a small car park and other amenities. The best approach is via the coast path from St Bredlades or, with care, along the waterline at low tide.

Great beach for a safe swim. Shingle and sea weed covered but felt clean to swim in. I can imagine parking can be an issue if you go on a hot day as limited next to beach itself. Car park about a 8 minute walk away though so won't be too much of a pain for a good swim.

Lovely quiet spot- with a rocky beach giving way to sand. Its accessible with a car park, toilets and a cafe which serves breakfast items till lunch.
Nice to sit by the sea and take it all in.
