Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Aramagen Holistic ClinicChester, UK30 contributionsSo many shops on The Rows to choose from. Eastgate St, Watergate St. & Bridge St. Eastgate is my favourite as it has Waterstones bookstore which is great. Beautiful Tudor buildings. Even back alleys like Godstall Lane.Written 10 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- deniscroissantManchester, UK205 contributionsWow...the kind of museum I didn't think existed anymore, reminded me of school trips of my long lost youth! Quite fittingly there was a couple of school jaunts in there when I visited. It's a former art school in an attractive gabled Victorian building which hasn't been jazzed up with trendy signage, trigger warnings or exclusive inclusives (think it's just assumed that everyone will enjoy their visit!) (Nice clean, fresh toilets too!)
My main focus was the Louise Rayner exhibition - delightful watercolours of old Chester - excellent! Another gallery had a great collection of Chester-centric paintings of views of the town, picturesque buildings, horses on the Roodee racecourse and famous Chester citizens, a further gallery has Silver 'objets' from when Chester was an assay office, downstairs an amazing collection of Roman altars...
Free and well worth a visit, just a few yards off Bridge Street turning into Grosvenor Street.Written 9 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - helena b11 contributionsVisited with family whilst in the area. Lovely church with nice little cafe inside. Obviously they're doing as much as they can to fundraise to keep it open, so had second hand books etc for sale. Definitely worth popping in for a look around and a brew 🙂Written 29 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I’m a bit of a spa snob and I would say there was no wow factor here, they provide tap water but dress it up with fruit and leaves. You have to pre order food on arrival but then wait 20 minutes for it to be served even thouugh you have an allocated time slot. You had to pay £8 to add halloumi to a salad but Lamb is an included dish for meat eaters on the free menu. There is only fresh orange juice in the morning, not lunch, they change it to bottled concerntrate stuff. The pools outside aren’t hot enough for the autumnal temperatures, very luke warm. It was a nice quiet day here, only 15-20 people here with us which was nice. My botanical massage was good but not worth £115 given I got 40 minutes when it was 50 minutes (every minute counts lol!) there was easily 10 minutes of the therapist faffing and it didn’t feel very routined at all. No pattern and often didn’t match up one side of the body to the other. There’s only a couple of spas that I visit repeatedly and sadly this wont be one for the journey.Written 1 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - permiaIreland67,095 contributionsA great cultural centre featuring library, theatre, cinema and eatery, it is a popular destination and meeting point.
Incorporating a grand Art Deco cinema from 1936 it is a welcome addition to the city’s cultural and leisure pursuits.Written 13 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is located across the street from the Guildhall and is certainly worth a stop to admire its lovely facade.Written 2 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SolihullRichardDorridge, UK1,469 contributionsVery helpful staff taking time to explain what to do and suggesting alternative walking guides. The £1.50 walkabout guide was so good we went back in to thank them for the recommendation. - Angela W.Wirral, UK107 contributionsThis was a Disco event on Saturday 27th April 2024 which was amazing ‘for grown ups’ and mainly consisted of 80’s, 90’s and club anthems. It was fantastic and we all enjoyed it with our 80’s themed costumes and would definitely attend one of these again in future. Brilliant venue and evening!Written 29 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Navigator329295174851 contributionWell what can I say about outpost. To start it’s run by some of the friendliest and professional people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.
From start to finish the whole experience is just a complete buzz, even if you have never done airsoft or are looking for a good works do this is the place!!
The staff in reception are very very knowledgeable and helpful with all questions and query’s especially the older lad.
I had to visit him a few times due to mishaps with gear and previous bad advice and not for one second did this man seem disinterested, he gave good advice and a great service advising what I should invest in, honestly top man!
All and all the arena is great, the food is actually really nice from there on site food truck and you really can’t knock it until you tried it.
Also 4 friend group who we regularly go with has now turned to 11 and we are all full members so for regular airsofters genuinely give this one a go you won’t regret it.Written 25 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
