The town Helston is nice with plenty of coffee shops and pastry shops.

So like almost EVERYONE that goes, we went to Port Isaac as we simply love Doc martin... this shop is right next to the Docs surgery and we popped in as the kids were a touch hungry, well, we had a cream tea each...

The restaurant serves very nice food and with so many areas of shopping (jewelry in gold, gems, silver or pearls, greeting cards, and activities for children), it is a good day out, including ample parking.

All 12 of us enjoyed visit, also did some Christmas shopping.
Had an interesting chat with Andy, the owner, watched the hand made production process through the viewing window, enjoyed the most delicious cake - chocolate , of course, and bought a few gifts from the shop there.

After chatting to Jeannie outside her Art shop in Mawgan Porth at the weekend, my daughter and I who are both love drawing and sketching decided to do a 3hr lesson with Jeannie.
My grandson (7) and I had were greeted at the Art on The Beach shop by Jeanni who made us feel very welcome and totally at ease from the outset.

The shop owner was very relaxed and friendly making us feel very comfortable even with our 2 8 year okds in tow! ... thank you we will be back again once we've decorated our house :-)

... on the tongue.Sisters Angie and Jackie are a credit to the trade and are always ready to give cooking advice when asked, as well as possessing a Cornish sense of humour which makes visits to the shops a pleasure.

This is a lovely shop in the heart of St Ives with a tempting array of original arts and crafts on offer, including some small and affordable items which make much more interesting gifts than the normal seaside fare.
This has to be one of the most delightful gallerys/shops in St Ives, tucked away in a little square with Olives Café just above the harbour.

Altogether, with the delicious fudge & the most charming Shirley, it was a shopping trip that will be included in our itinerary for all future visits to Mevagissey.
Nestled in the lovely harbour town of Mevagissey the is a beautiful old looking shop which blends into its surroundings.
