Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Low tide when we arrived but pretty harbour. We stayed mainly on the harbour area. Parked in the harbour parking which was £2 for two hours and there were toilets by the parking machine.

This is a lovely gallery, hidden away in a fantastic garden courtyard. There is a wide selection of art - both in terms of artistic styles and media used, which makes it really interesting. There are also some lovely cards etc. We met Tim, who is keen and enthusiastic, without being pushy. We'll definitely return to see what's new and how the garden develops!

Very interesting.....careful not to just walk it by though as it can easily be missed. It's quite old so handle with great care.

It was a very hot day when we did this walk. We started from Mousehole - which started on a steep hill. The costal path itself was very overgrown and on occasion you couldn’t see your feet. Whenever we met anyone coming the other way we had to squeeze by. It was like this most of the way - very little path to speak off. Lots of rock climbing involved. Stopped for a drink in the beautiful cove. The walk back across the fields was a lot easier and the app gave great instructions and once told us we had gone the wrong way. All that said about the costal path, we absolutely loved it and definitely earnt our beer in the Old Coastguard hotel in Mousehole which did a surprisingly good real ale. Met some nice friendly people on the way.

I saw this gallery online so we made a point of stopping by. The owner, Essex Tyler, was minding the shop and couldn’t have been more engaging and friendly. We didn’t have the budget to buy the painting we loved, but it contained some beautiful art. Highly recommend a visit!

This sanctuary is open all year and entry is free. At this time of the year there is a limited range of species in the hospital. There were mainly gulls and corvids. The work being done here is laudable and is deserving of a generous donation. There is no parking available outside so you need to park by the harbour. The steep climb up the hill from the harbour may prove daunting to some.

Lovely little gallery in the charming harbour town of Mousehole; just set back from the main harbour area. The art in here is really good quality and mostly Cornish based, well worth a visit.

Lovely pub, right opposite the beautiful harbour. Very nice inside, good beer (a selection of real ales, not just the usual cold lagers), good food and friendly service. Ok, Mousehole is small and there’s not much competition but they don’t rest on this and don’t think that because it’s in prime location that it’s just a tourist trap, I’m happy to say that it is authenticate and genuine in all regards.

We stumbled across this beautiful gallery whilst on holiday with friends. A fantastic find, beautiful paintings , artwork and glass ware. We met John who was charasmatic and charming and happy to chat with us. This makes all the difference when you are thinking of buying a painting for your home. In fact we couldn't resist and bought 3! Wonderful part of our holiday .

Coast is a shop full of fantastic Cornish crafts for all budgets. Sarah and Steve are so welcoming and they allow dogs which is fab as Sizzles our French Bulldog loves to visit for a doggie treat. The crafts make wonderful gifts or just as a little something to remember a wonderful holiday in Cornwall. I cannot recommend this shop enough. If you visit Mousehole, this is a must.

We went on this boat trip with the skipper Nigel (who is a great character) and his wife Fiona (who was lovely) yesterday.
The boat is a fishing boat that comfortably seats 12 people. We left Mousehole harbour (right hand side) and headed along the coast the sun was out and it was truly beautiful. Nigel told us about the coastline it’s history and the caves he is extremely knowledgeable about the coast and wildlife.
Nigel got a call from one of the other boats that informed him there were dolphins so he took us to find them and with Nigel and Fiona’s expert eyes we were very lucky to see them we watched them for a good while and then on the way back we saw some seals too. This was the highlight of our holiday in Mousehole it was really brilliant. I would recommend you book it if you’re staying in the area. We did the 5 o’clock trip.
Big thanks to Nigel and Fiona !
