This is a very interesting museum. Although it’s only small, they have packed it full of scene setting and lots of reading available for the details. The pirate stories were the most popular with our twelve yr old.
Loads to discover, but did get warm up on the top deck.
Bargain, a must do if you are anywhere nearby.

Spent about half an hour, not very big, also not fully accurate, whole road missing, luckily it was not that expensive, .

We parked in Polperro (busy and expensive at £12 for the day), but things soon quietened down when we got on the coast path and headed towards Polruan.

It was beautiful but lots of undulations and very tiring. We only made it to Llansallos beach before heading back inland, and with stopping for a picnic, it took us all day.

    Beautiful but beware!

Quaint Cornish village harbour free of traffic. Parking for visitors at the top end of the village, with nice walks and views along the harbour. Small beach and a cave to spend some time, tide permitting. Small boats were ferrying people to the English Channel, and to other coastal villages nearby.

Firstly we arrived in the car park and seen some disabled spaces and thought great as I haven't been able to find an empty disabled space in Cornwall and lots of them. My face fell as I seen the size of the spaces. They are the same as all the rest in the car park. I am a wheelchair user so had to be off loaded before the car could be parked.
    Moan over.
Polperro is lovely. There are little streets with cute craft shops. It is nice to meander down the streets to the little harbour. The tide was out and the kids played on the rocks whilst some of us just stayed on the wall watching the world go by.
I would go again just to relax.

Polperro is a lovely little village to visit The two negatives are £7 minimum charge for car parking that only gives you three hours parking and disabled parking is extremely small spaces the same size as a normal parking space and it's at least a 5 minute walk to pay for the car parking Then you get charged 50p a time to use the toilet where as in Looe which is very close to polperro it is free in one toilet and 20p charge in the other

Found this lovely pub by chance! Glows bright with red and white twinkly lights at night so go find it! British legion is open to non members, you will be surprised! Friendly welcome, live music, pool table, darts and most importantly an immaculate modern loo 😊 turn right after pizza and beer. Not many know of this gem. Wish I knew it was here sooner. 😊

Not what we were expecting from the outside when we popped in for drink. Obviously had a recent makeover which was not to our liking really.

Despite this the welcome and service were excellent and we returned here again as they did a nice range of different lagers and beers compared to rest of Village -Nice to have a change fro Korev.
