Met at the activity centre and got kitted up. They provide a wetsuit, life jacket and helmet. They also have trainers if you forget shoes you don’t mind getting wet.
A short shuttle to the start of the river and then enjoy cruising down the river. There are a couple of points were you stop and have a little competition and then wild swimming before heading back. - Paul P4 contributionsAn awesome day white water rafting in the north Lakes. Would highly recommend these guys, perfectly arranged, safe, funny and clearly know their stuff. A great day with great laughs and a bit of adrenaline thrown in. The river Eden was a stunning river to raft on with amazing scenery, wildlife and some good sections of white water. This well planned walk enabled us to explore this new area of the Lake District-lots of interesting info and hidden gems . Jamie is open and friendly and made our last day a memorable one. Our family had a great day visiting the Stock Ghyll waterfall and then saw the highest points of the area. We went to the slate mine and entered the huge cave with a fantastic view. We had a drink and cake at Chesters Bakery & Shop. We visited the site of the highest pub, being renovated yet. We drove through the river after the slate mine. A fantastic tour.

We booked on the first sailing and it was pretty full but most people got off at the first stop to go walking. We were being much more lazy so stayed on and got some drinks from the bar. It was wonderful to sit in the sun drinking a cold drink and watching the lovely scenery.
Boat staff were very friendly and helpful and prices on board were reasonable.
It was £50 for two adults plus £7 to park, which is expensive. Personally I feel that if you have a ticket it should include parking, it feels a little like they’re overly exploiting customers making them pay extra. But hey, clearly works!

The tour guide was genuinely interesting and informative and the small group size (6) made the whole experience far more personable. - David N1 contributionExcellent way to start the day. Though we’ve been to the Lakes many times we have not ventured into the Langdales. The speaker system in the coach ensured that the excellent commentary was clear for all. The atmosphere was very informal and friendly. Excellent driving by the driver along the many narrow lanes. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Will be booking another next time we’re in the Lakes.
