Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fab time walking through the caves, tour guide James was amazing with plenty of knowledge and made the tour fun with plenty of laughs.
Very informative and super recommend the tour around! You wouldn’t think it would be in the middle of a housing estate, really great!

An amazing visit. Would thoroughly recommend to all ages. It is lovely to see the donkeys so happy and well looked after. The cafe was very reasonably priced and the food etc of a high quality. Good range of gifts at a wide range of prices.

Wow what a farm! Jam packed with fun activities for all ages! Cafe was quite pricey but the pasties are 10/10! The kid feeding &+ ferret racing was a hit with the kids. Will be visiting again and recommending to everyone

Made the mistake of visiting during the May Half Term holiday, on what I think was the only non-rainy day, and it was PACKED. But if you're willing to be a bit further from the facilities (e.g. bring your own food and drink), the stretch southwards where Woolacombe Beach fades into Putsborough Beach is a lot quieter. Quite far to the sea when the tide is out, but the whole beach is really clean, sand is soft, and the sea here is quite clear. Nice place to spend a day, or walk for a while. Lifeguards on duty communicate any issues. Parking in the main two car parks in Woolacombe is limited, but there is tons of space in the overflow. Both cost £10 a day, or £5 if arriving after 4pm.

A chunk of nostalgia well worth the visit. Informative and friendly drivers discussed tramway and surrounding area. Cafe provided traditional fare at a reasonable price.

We stayed at the resort with our tourer caravan for the duration of half term. Our son aged 8, and twin girls aged 4 (nearly 5) had an absolute blast.
The staff on the site and in the park were friendly and polite. The campsite itself was relatively clean-the only downsides were the state of the toilets early in the morning - i was surprised that they weren’t cleaned before 8:30am. The signed cleaning sheets had quite large gaps in them too where they hadn’t been cleaned for a few hours during the day too. The only other negative was the washing up area-no bin so people left used teabags etc dumped on the sink and it generally looked grubby.
We had a meal in the club house on the first night which was ok. Expensive for what we had but that was expected. Kids eating for £1 was quite good. We had breakfast on the last day too which wasn’t great-was cold but filled a hole before the long drive home.
The actual theme park was great for our kids. They loved all the rides and considering it was half term the queues weren’t massive. I think we waited 45 mins for the log flume, twister and maximum rollercoaster but as we had wristbands for the duration of our stay we did them on separate days. We did the sooty show twice as it gave the kids time to grab a bite to eat (we took picnic stuff).
The evening entertainment was ok-bingo, and the pirate show for the kids. The kids would have liked to have stayed for the disco with buddy bear but it was too late really - could have been done at 6:30 rather than 8:30 as it was for the small kids.
The real highlight was the fact we could have a drink in adventure zone entertainment room whilst the kids played on the soft play and slides which was open til 8pm. That gave us some peace!
All in all it was a good holiday and we will be looking at booking again next year.

A wonderful cathedral. The roof is possibly the highlight being the longest vaulted roof in England and constructed nearly 800 years ago. The wonderful wooden quire area with its new floor is simi-larly striking. Add in the stained glass windows, the historic figures linked with the cathedral and it is just amazing.

Lovely place for a walk, with artisan crafts, love Our Glass, great cafe for food & drink only down side are hot drinks being served in paper cups with the tea bag left in cup which spoiled the tea, would have preferred proper cup & tea pot like the old cafe did.

I love this house and the gardens are wonderful. The staff are lovely particularly the ones in the shop. I think the manager and assistant on the 7th June are particularly lovely and friendly.

Just one issue to be aware of, the area does have a tick problem had one stuck to my husband’s leg and my daughter’s which isn’t at all pleasant! Be aware and be careful to check your legs!!!
