Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Always have to go here when I'm in Devon, a fab centre with big walls, hundreds of great routes and, as a frequent wolo climber, a load of autos which is great to see. Wish I lived nearby just for this place!

Fabulous time at VRVE exeter. Host Jez was brilliant, prompt start, quickly went through tutorials, recommended games and challenges for us to do multiplayer. Maximised playing time and we all had great fun. I would recommend asking the host to take some photos/ videos whilst the group is playing!

Had a "accordion" if a time with Jacob. He was a "trumpet" of a player. The cow bell sounded like a "French horn" in vikings room. Jacobs energy is like playing "bagpipes" you eaither love him or hate his vibe. I for one love his energy and vibe. Jacob is a "clarinet' of a person and an essential player to your team. I can garentee when playing games with Jacob you will have a "saxophone" of the time.

(I promise I am not mental.... he had a staff bingo sheet for good reviews and had to use these words)

We thoroughly enjoyed completing The Haunting of Mount Clifton Manor, extremely nail biting at times!! Our host was Lucy. She was very experienced and made us feel very welcome, she was amazing in character! Unfortunately there were only four of us as our ginger one couldn't make it but we made it out in the nick of time! Thank-you Lucy, we'll be back 😊

Very welcoming staff (Ryan)!!! He showed us around and was very helpful and kind. he made sure that we had straight golf clubs to use and he was very interactive and easy to speak with. he seems like a fun guy !! My friend and i enjoyed Crazy golf and pool!!! We got some drinks and enjoyed the chilled but fun atmosphere of boom. Ryan seems like a super duper nice guy. Very friendly , knowledgeable and helpful staff. Wide variety of board games. Good choice and quality of snacks. Very enjoyable 3 hours of fun for family on a wet Sunday afternoon. Do check on car parking as warden had a very profitable time booking cars parking in poorly defined bus stop outside cafe.

Our Son and Daughter-in-law gave us this as a present for our 63rd. wedding anniversary. We were absolutely enthralled, Matt was so welcoming and made us feel at home in the cockpit. We really felt as if we were actually flying the 737 aeroplane, it was so lifelike. We flew around Torbay and then a trip out of Innsbruck, which was absolutely incredible, we were in the mountains and it was snowing!!!

We held our Son’s 9th birthday party at Brick and Mix. The party is held when the shop closes. Everyone had a fantastic time!

Darren hosted the party, he set the kids different tasks to participate in throughout the evening. The children got to take home some of the Lego that they built.
The shop run daily play sessions and sell all sorts of Lego sets and merchandise which is a good price.

Thank you for a lovely evening. Would recommend it if you are a Lego fanatic.

Had my first experience of paint balling here for my partners birthday. The staff were friendly, the games were easy to understand for a first-timer and we had a really great time.

Booking was super easy and communication about the day was very good. I told family members how much we spent on the outing and this seemed in-line with other paintball centres in the country. We were with a stag group but did not feel that this impacted on our experience as the teams were split fairly and everyone had a good laugh with the instructors.

The only thing we could fault was that the wait between games was far too long. I understand they must cater to all fitness levels and have breaks to reload the guns etc but towards the end it felt we were spending more time waiting around than playing. We would have gladly spent more on extra paintball to have a whole other game in that break period, or would have at least preferred the games in quicker succession.

Despite this small gripe we would definitely return and also would like to try airsoft too at this venue.

Cosy and inviting, with a lovely, friendly atmosphere. A great place in the winter months (and beyond).

While I can't ignore Picturehouse's seemingly corporate leanings, as a company, and the effect this must have on its staff - the pseudo-indie chain being owned by Cineworld - the team at the Exeter cinema keeps its independent beginnings in safe hands. Shoutout to the chap with blue hair, who made a wonderful tuna toastie.

All in all, my favourite mainstream cinema in the city.
